Bare minerals makeup never lets me down. I have been using my foundation without the mineral veil for a while because I had no time to go buy new veil makeup. I finally got around to it and I remember why it's so important. It leaves a wonderful finis before even applying the rest of your makeup. Some days I just wear the mineral veil to even out my face when I'm just having a calm, no impressing clients kind of day.

I didn't really notice much difference from the regular veil. I love bareminerals, there is nothing out on the market that comes close to the coverage, the "feel", or the look!
The only thing I didn't care for, it has little shiny specks in it that seems to settle in the creases, and being over 50, something I don't need. I would have stuck with my regular veil, but the store was out and I had to have something.

This powder is easy to use and versatile. Ideal for fair to medium skin... I'm blue eyed, blonde with very sensitive and fair skin. I use it on my cheekbones and lightly on t-zone to illuminate face, and I sometimes use it as well as a light base for eye shadow... the shimmer is just enough to glow for a no makeup look. It does dry my cheeks occasionally, so I make sure to moisturize well before applying.
