When I first applied it under my eyes (for dark circles) it made them appear worse. But once it dried, the circles were much less apparent. The consistancy is very liquid and wet so be sure to pat it well into your skin and let it dry a few seconds before you decide if it works. There is alot in the tube considering how little you have to use, so it's a good value in that it should last a long time. I haven't used it on anything other than my dark circles, but I think it would probably be good for brightening other areas. It blends very well, does not settle into creases and seems to last a while. It doesn't really "cover" circles, only reflects light away so they are less apparent. I recommend using it under concealer or corrector. Once you powder over and set it under your eyes, the circles will disappear quite a bit.

I followed the directions perfectly and the product a. Didn't cover a thing b. Made my face look and feel greasy and c. Had these tacky little glitter things in it. Now officially turned off smash box. Thanks....
