This product works really well on my naturally curly, course, dry hair. I also color my hair, and I think it has helped to prevent my color from fading. It smells great too - a citrus scent.

Worked well for a non-sulfate shampoo on VERY thick curly hair. But we still like the UNwash collection better.

Any time I use a regular shampoo I am so sorry and can't wait to get back to my no poo. Even though I don't color my hair,l I use the fade free because it smells better than the regular to me.

                • Q:

I recently bleached my hair and it caused my curls to go away. I decided to dye my hair back to my natural color and let it grow. Will this product help enhance my curls? Since i have dyed my hair, is it better to use this product or the No-Poo Zero Lather Conditioning Cleanser? My hair is really dry, thin, and constantly falls out.

                    A:

Both products are color-safe, but I would suggest using No-Poo Zero Lather Conditioning cleanser. DevaCurl products will not create curls if you don't already have them, but they will enhance your curls (and hair), by providing moisture and nourishment.

                    A:

It really depends upon your hair type, but most hair will benefit from following up with DevaCurl One Condition.

Do I always have to use the no poo ? I was wondering if I can only use the one condition and the gel .

                    A:

No-Poo is used for cleansing and stimulating the scalp. It has a higher pH, giving it more antiseptic qualities which are meant for the scalp. One Condition has a lower pH, which is more calming and soothing. However, if enough friction is applied to the scalp when using the conditioner, and it is properly rinsed from the scalp, it is an acceptable alternative. Follow with any styler for definition and shape.

I have super straight, thin hair and read that this product is helpful for straight hair.

                  1. Do I need to use additional conditioner with this?
                  2. Can I use it every day?
                  3. What is the difference between this and the original No-Poo?

                    A:

                    1. Though following with conditioner is not mandatory, for maximum hydration, we recommend following with DevaCurl One Condition for all hair types. For fine thin hair, rinse all of your One Condition from the hair.
                    2. Yes, you can use No-Poo everyday!
                    3. DevaCurl vs. DevaCare versions: DevaCare No-Poo contains added ingredients vitamin C and orange peel extract to slow color fading, unlike the original DevaCurl No-Poo.
