I bought these to hold the roots of my curly hair up while my hair air-dried, to give the roots lift. These clips aren't very tight, so they fall and slip within minutes of placing them. I have to use three overlapping clips on one small section of hair. I should've spent the extra money and bought the DevaCurl clips.
