The clips are light weight and they work to hold the hair back however I noticed that they are not durable and can easily come apart into two pieces. The two sides are held together with a spring like joint and a needle which can pop out easily. In fact, the first box I bought had a broken clip and I had to go back to the store to exchange it.

These are great for holding fine hair in Velcro rollers.

Works great with Velcro rollers to hold them in place. My hair is too thick and long to hold Velcro roller by themselves. These clips stay and don't cause indentation in my hair like other wide mouth clips.

I previously had large plastic clips that were didn't hold my hair in place very well. These duck bill clips are perfect, and hold my hair in place without slipping.

I use these in place of velcro rollers. They work great to help create volume in my hair and they store better that velcro rollers. They hold tight but do not leave a crimp in my hair.
