I have used Loreal masacara for 25 years...I try different brands now and then out of curiosity, but I always go back to L'Oreal. This one has a velvety black tone..goes on smoothly and I do a 2nd coat and it dries quickly. My lashes are invisible without mascara..light brown. I get a beautiful dark brown result.

This is the best mascara I have tried to date. I have tried pretty much every drug store brand out there and this is the longest lasting and most volumus mascara I have tried. It also delivers the darkest lashes with the most lenght. I recommend really wriggling it into the roots and then pulling through the ends. This will really grab each lash and seperate them as this formula is very thick (part of the reason it plumps up the lashes). Also in the beginning, make sure to scrape the excess off on the edge of the tube or it will deposite too much on your lashes.

I wanted to love this mascara, as it went on well and looked great. But as the day progressed, I had black smudges under my eyes and after washing my face (with cleanser & makeup remover) twice that night, I still had black under my eyes for more than a full day. Just won't work for me.

I use this product on a daily basis to make my lifeless lashes big and bold. It is easy to use and easy to remove. Unfortunatley, I wish the tube lasted longer because I love mascara.

I have been using this mascara for over 10 years and it makes your lashes full and longer looking without clumping. After the first week it gets a little thicker in consistency,which is a good thing. Its a great mascara and does a great job for way less than the higher end brands.

I purchased it because of the amazing reviews but I found this mascara to flake, a lot. I used it once and not it's in the trash. It did go on easy but I don't want to have to clean up the mascara found under my eyes by the afternoon.

This is seriously my favorite product. Every now and then I'll try a different mascara, but I always always come back to Voluminous. Take that recommendation seriously - as a blonde with see-through lashes, mascara is an important thing to me! I especially love the carbon black, but they're all great.
You'll be amazed at how nicely this applies (and removes, for that matter). No crazy clumping, more than one layer doesn't phase this stuff, and this may sound weird but your lashes stay SO soft! They dont get crunchy or waxy. Lasts all day, and it's easy to get a variety of looks, from natural to intense, from just one product.

I bought the waterproof and hated it. By the end of the day I looked like a raccoon. I have used voluminous before so thought I would try this and I'll go back to the regular voluminous. Threw this out after one use.

I have been using this mascara for years now. I have tried other products paying over $20 for different brands that I thought might be even "better" than the $8 or so that I spend on this one and I have always been disappointed. Sure a lot of the other mascaras are good too, but this one is better AND waaay more inexpensive. I use mascara everyday and the quality and price of this mascara is just phenomenal.
