Product was easy to use, but it is still extremely painful after 4-5 uses. I have not gotten to tolerate the pain. The last time I used it it made me bleed in 4 different spots on my underarm. Does not remove all the hairs as it says it doess and hair still grows back pretty rapidly. I have had to use it about twice a week even though the box says it leaves you hair free for 4 weeks. (disclaimer: I am taking prenatal vitmains so maybe that is why my hair is growing so quickly). Overall, it's quick and easy to use, hopefully I can get use to the pain.

My eplilady died and was looking for a replacement. Originally I was looking to replace it with another eplilady but there was none in stock. I am happy about this as the Braun is so much better! It gets more hair in a quicker time period. I highly recommend this product.

I have an earlier model -- it works better. Very frustrated with the cord. It falls out. This one is in the drawer.

I've used epilators for over 10 years to clean up between waxing appointments, and the selection on the market keeps improving. This epilator is great, has two speeds, but why would you use anything but high? The light is really helpful, and it seems to grab more hair than the last one I had, which was an Emjoy. I am not brand loyal, I just look for function and price. I have never used an epilator "wet" so it's not a function I would pay extra for. Re-charging/cordless is a nice to have function, which this model does not have. But the next closest model on the Ulta shelf was 30 bucks more for rechargeable. That's OK, I'll deal with the cord.

The main reason I think it grabs more hair is that doing my legs this time seemed to go much faster than with my old Emjoy, which was just starting to burn out. I recommend this unit highly.

Read the instructions and do not use if you haven't shaved in a while. Long hair really hurts with the epilator. If you shave and then start using, there isn't a lot of pain. I wish the cord stayed connected better.

I have used epilation instead of shaving since 1990. Starting with the Epilady, which was much less affective and painful. This is better than any I have use yet. It gives a much closer job. I anyone is considering starting to epilate vs. shaving, I do recommend this product. If concerned about pain, it only last for the first or second time and it is not that bad.

Great epilator! Needed to replace my 10 year old model (same brand) and got this. Much quieter (still a bit noisy though but it is electric what do you expect), works even better than a more expensive one I bought, and is the most painfree epilator I've used yet. To new epilator users-it WILL hurt the first time, but after that it gets easier and easier, by the 3rd or 4th time I could epilate pain free and I have a VERY low tolerence for pain. I am able to do my legs, arms (I remove the massage attachment, seems to work better on the thin area), underarms (the most uncomfortable spot for me but now it is pain free), and bikini line with this and very quickly. The 40 tweezers is all you need, I have the 72 tweezer model and it doesn't work half as well as this one! Very pleased with this purchase! Oh and to the other users who said the charge cord keeps falling out-mine was too, until I really pushed it in there and heard a click, now it stays put!

Was really nervous about purchasing this, but really happy I did. Comparable results to waxing, lasts a long time (2 weeks for me). The first use was painful but it was worth it, now their is very little pain on even the second use. I chose to get this model that plugs in because I didn't want to deal with charging the battery and having the power weaken over time. I have already recomended this to my friends!

My first Braun epilator lasted me 10 years, yes, ten years. So I was very upset when finally it stopped working. This new version is very high quality and has the neatest feature, the light! I love it! I used to have to use my old epilator in the sunlight, but now, I can use it any time of day. There are more rotating blades to pluck the hairs out, so using it goes by much faster. It is easy to clean and easy to operate. Keep your machine maintained by cleaning it each time you use it. The only reason why I didn't give it a "5" kiss review was my cord falls out easily. It does not securely fit in the epilator. However, I will not return it, because at the time I bought it, I received a 35 sample gift bag and I don't feel like rounding up all the little samples for the return.
