The power cord tends to fall out several times during use. It doesn't provide a silky-smooth finish because it misses hairs.

I bought this item to replace a much older model that's starting to die. I returned it because the plug wouldn't stay in. Very disappointed in the quality!

Product was easy to use, but it is still extremely painful after 4-5 uses. I have not gotten to tolerate the pain. The last time I used it it made me bleed in 4 different spots on my underarm. Does not remove all the hairs as it says it doess and hair still grows back pretty rapidly. I have had to use it about twice a week even though the box says it leaves you hair free for 4 weeks. (disclaimer: I am taking prenatal vitmains so maybe that is why my hair is growing so quickly). Overall, it's quick and easy to use, hopefully I can get use to the pain.

My eplilady died and was looking for a replacement. Originally I was looking to replace it with another eplilady but there was none in stock. I am happy about this as the Braun is so much better! It gets more hair in a quicker time period. I highly recommend this product.

I have an earlier model -- it works better. Very frustrated with the cord. It falls out. This one is in the drawer.

I've used epilators for over 10 years to clean up between waxing appointments, and the selection on the market keeps improving. This epilator is great, has two speeds, but why would you use anything but high? The light is really helpful, and it seems to grab more hair than the last one I had, which was an Emjoy. I am not brand loyal, I just look for function and price. I have never used an epilator "wet" so it's not a function I would pay extra for. Re-charging/cordless is a nice to have function, which this model does not have. But the next closest model on the Ulta shelf was 30 bucks more for rechargeable. That's OK, I'll deal with the cord.

The main reason I think it grabs more hair is that doing my legs this time seemed to go much faster than with my old Emjoy, which was just starting to burn out. I recommend this unit highly.

Read the instructions and do not use if you haven't shaved in a while. Long hair really hurts with the epilator. If you shave and then start using, there isn't a lot of pain. I wish the cord stayed connected better.

I have used epilation instead of shaving since 1990. Starting with the Epilady, which was much less affective and painful. This is better than any I have use yet. It gives a much closer job. I anyone is considering starting to epilate vs. shaving, I do recommend this product. If concerned about pain, it only last for the first or second time and it is not that bad.
