I have mostly straight hair but it is pretty thick and sometimes will waves in odd ways. I use the product about once a week in the summer and I have not had any problems with it.
1) It can be heavy to hold but you get used to it.
2)Also I suggest watching tutorials on how to best use it first, and it will be easy afterwards.
Why its great:
Its great because my hair hits about under your chest, and it only takes me 15 minutes to do all of my hair. Its great to because it gives the appearance that you spent a very long time on your hair!
Things that aren't so great:
The only thing that isn't so great is its heavy and can be hard to hold at first but be patient and practice!
**TIPS:**
1)Do not try and run it through your hair like a flat iron.
2) Take big pieces of hair because small sections do not wave well.
3) When doing top sections make sure your waver is tilted up so it will not leave rivets.

I am a hair stylist and have tried all kinds of wavers, I was reluctant to try this because it wasnt "name brand" from a salon supply house. i actually LOVED this waver!! It's big so it makes waving long hair faster. The only things I did not like about it was it gets a bit heavy after holding it for long and the heat control setting moves too easily, making the heat too cool or too hot if accidentally bumped (dk if its just mine). This is defiantly a fabulous buy though!!

Product did absolutely nothing for me. Might as well have not used it at all. I know this has worked for friends of mine. Ineffectiveness may be because of my thick, coarse hair.

This is a great hair tool. It heats up quickly and makes beautiful waves. Don't over brush your hair afterwards or it can get a bit frizzy looking. But I found that spraying detangler or leave-in conditioner on my brush fixes that if I brush a little too much. However it does require a bit of practice because of it's large size when open. Once you set it on the counter to get another piece of hair, you may have a little trouble getting your hand around it at first because it opens really wide. Other than that, This is one of my very favorite new hair tools :)

The waves did not hold. I bought a curling wand instead which works much better!

I really did not like this product. I already have naturally wavy hair, and this did nothing for me. After blow drying my hair, and then using this tool my hair looked the same as when I let it air dry! It definitely did not give me the beach curl that is promised. Save your money and buy a wand. I am finding more and more that wands are the best way to go!

I love this waver! Every time i use it people are constantly giving me compliments on my hair, and i'd be lying if i said that I didn't like the attention. It does get heavy after a while but you just have to have patience while using it. It takes about 45-55 minutes to do my hair but the waves last a day or two so it's worth it.
