The retractable cord twists over time. I keep my equipment plugged into a power strip (that I flip to off when not using). I need to unplug the drier to untwist the cord. Also, the retract button requires pushing in one corner of the button - half the time I have to push several times to find the sensitive area.
This device would be fine if it were not for my preference to keep it plugged in.

I bought this hair dryer in part because all my dryers have only laster around 5 years, so being somewhat cheaper was a key element. This by far was beyond cheap. The cord is retractable....yet you have to push it in for it to actually retract. The heat never seemed to be hot enough, therefore I spent 30+ minutes drying, used my old Vidal...10 minutes! After a year it played hot/cold heat with me, lengthening my time, and frizzing out my hair.
Finally after 2 1/2 years it finally just stopped blowing hot, now I can chunk it. For it being overly loud, heavy and never really heating properly it wasn't worth the small price tag anyway. Will not be buying a Conair again, if the quality is the same on all of their dryers.
Did love the diffuser though!

I have used this same dryer in the past and it worked well and lasted for years. This one seems to be made a little more cheaply, but it still does the job. I like the fact that it has 3 settings for heat as well as 3 settings for how hard it blow drys.

I love conair. I had my last blow drier for 12+ years but I wanted a new shiny one. The cord keeper feature is awesome. I hate having to deal with cords or wrap them up, so this blow drier is a real time saver.

I did not find anything great about this hairdryer. The cord length is too short, the highest heat setting is not hot enough, and it is hands down the loudest blowdryer I have ever come across. I have had many Conair dryers in the past and this one was a huge disappointment.

Has no umphf. Doubt it could blow out a birthday candle. Cord barely retracts, have to push it along the last couple of inches. Returning this product! Awful.
