Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:
I have oily skin and have always been afraid of full coverage. I saw this recommended on a blog, so I thought I'd give it a try. I absolutely love it!! It goes on smooth and blends easily. I don't think it feels heavy and it gives full coverage. I like how it gives a subtle dewy look and not cakey. I would highly recommend this foundation!!!

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:
I have been experimenting with foundations to find the right coverage for my adult acne and oily skin. I've tried Makeup Forever Velvet Matte (good, but expensive and heavy), Studio Gear Matte (okay coverage, but get oily after a few hours), Bareminerals Matte foundation powder (poor coverage), and read a review about this product so I gave it a try. I've been using it for a week now, and I can't believe the quality for the price. I would definitely give it a shot. There's so many colors to choose from, so you're likely to find the right shade. This product holds up to my very oily skin...literally all day long without having to blot...miracle!!

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:
Revlon Colorstay surpasses most high end department store foundations.
I'm 50 years old, and need a foundation that doesn't settle into my face lines and gives me natural coverage over blemishes, redness, and age spots.
I dip a q-tip in the bottle to remove a small amount of foundation. I put it on the back of my hand, sometimes blending two shades. Then I work quickly to apply a thin layer of foundation using a damp foundation brush.
In my experience, using a good damp foundation brush and using a very small amount of foundation will give the best results. Finger application or make-up sponge application looked too heavy. The foundation brush was a great investment and made all the difference.
This foundation sets quickly, so work fast, and blend. You can then go back and add another thin layer, or just build up the coverage where needed using a damp concealer brush. Set with powder and forget about it. This is not ready to slide off my nose and chin by the end of the day.
A big challenge for me, always, is getting a good skin tone match. I'm very fair in the winter, but brown up quickly and darkly in the summer. With the affordable price, I'm not hesitant to buy several shades. A good color match & applying lightly will result in a great look.

Normally after 4 hours or so my nose is oily. This is day one for me trying this product. I did use a moisturizer and a foundation primer before applying. But little to no oil on my nose I love love love this foundation. I want to see what the heat does to this make up.

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:
I bought this based on an online review & a friend's recommendation. I was disappointed because I expected it to stay matte & control shine. It did neither. Perhaps it works better on someone with normal or combo skin. It didn't work well for my oily skin. I prefer Almay TLC. In Addition, even though I tired my best to get a good match, I got Golden Caramel, which is too dark for me. I have to exchange it & try to go through it quickly, in order to get my money's worth. Ugh!

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:
This is the best foundation you will ever own. You can sheer it out with primer or moisturizer for light coverage, or apply two coats for super heavy duty coverage. You can use it as concealer. It will not oxidize and change color on oily/combination skin. It will not break you out. It will last ALL DAY.
This is better than any high end foundation I own, absolutely love it.
