Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

I have used this foundation for seven or eight years now and I ALWAYS come back to it. It's a bargain and a staple in my makeup bag. I feel bad when women say it breaks them out, because I could not live without this product. Even after the reformulation, which was unfortunate, it is still amazing. It is buildable, giving medium to full coverage, depending on the look you wish to achieve. I prefer to pat it into my skin with a Beauty Blender, but I can also make it work with a brush or just my fingers. It dries to a semi-matte finish, and I top it off with Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder. Stays ALL DAY long, and I work 12 hour shifts in a hospital. I also own MAC Studio Fix fluid foundation but prefer to save it for more special occasions as it is pricier, so Revlon ColorStay is my everday HG foundation. I could not say enough about this product.

love this foundation! the coverage is excellent, though occasionally my dark spots don't seem to get covered.. i love the finish of this stuff! its not really matte but its not dewy either. it's like satin skin! my face doesn't get very oily when i wear this stuff, which is why I love it! my only issue is that the pigmentation is a little too pink for me.. i wear an nc37 in mac and the 310 warm golden should've been perfecct, but when it oxidizes, it looks way to pink for my skin. i mix it with another shade and i'm okay. overall, with the prcice ad quality of this foundation, i highly recommend!

I have EXTREMELY oily skin. I am an oil slick by 10 am!! I've been searching for a good full coverage foundation for over a year. Been spending TOO much money on high-end. I finally did a Google and YouTube search and found out about Revelon Color Stay. Anything is worth a try at this point. I tried Color Stay 400 Caramel. I did not blot all day!!! My co-workers noticed I didn't have a shine. I cannot believe I spent less thank $15 and it works!!!! Thank Goodness!

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

The ColorStay line has been out for a while, and after some researching, I decided it was my turn. This seems to be everyones favorite foundation, and I'd have to say I'm converted. This is my first foundation where my skintone matches 100 percent! I was wearing it today with moisturizure and powder. Though the powder was sweated mostly off, the foundation lasted all day with no trouble. I've heard you have to work quickly with it, but I didn't experience anything. I've never really cared for Revlon, but this is a definite repurchase. My only issue is that I'm not used to bottled foundation, so it may be difficult to dispense once I begin to run out.

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

This is the foundation I used before being converted to IT Cosmetics and Tarte. If I ever find myself unable to afford IT and Tarte, I will go back to Revlon Colorstay. I used shade 150 BUFF in Revlon and that shade matched me perfectly. I have had issues with finding this perfect shade with other brands, but in Tarte I use the Fair Sand shade or the Light Sand shade. The Revlon foundation provided a great matte finish for my oily skin and I used to use Clinique's loose powder in the invisible blend. Now I use either IT Finishing Powder or Laura Geller's powder in the compact. If you are looking for a budget friendly makeup that is great for oily skin and stays on all day, then Revlon Colorstay is the perfect product.

I got the shade 150 and it's a little too light for my skin, but that's what I wanted because I like to mix. If it helps, I'm a 2.0 in UD Naked. Nice coverage; as a result, it's rather thick, which I prefer!

              love/hate relationship

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. It matches my skin tone really well, has awesome coverage, and keeps me shine free for hours. BUT I break out a little when I wear it. I am giving it another try because the first time I broke out it was that time of the month and I always break out then and the next I slept in my makeup so I'm hoping it's not the foundation! Another thing is I used my mac powder to set it and my face looked soooo powdery and cakey. I used my loreal pressed powder and that seemed to work better with it. Overall a great product though!

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

I'm a budget buyer, but I'll splurge on pricey products if they work well. Fortunately, I have been able to avoid buying high-end foundation because of this stuff. I have pretty oily skin, and I deal with some minor acne every so often. I struggle to stay matte during the day, and this foundation is the best I've tried! It is full coverage, and I pair it with a mattifying primer, and it is perfect. I use a flat top buffing brush to really buff this stuff into my skin, and it looks great. I have never broken out while using this. The only con to this product is the fact that it is a little heavy, but that is to be expected from a full-coverage foundation, so it's hard for me to even say that's a con.
This is my "go to" foundation, I will buy this over and over again. If you struggle with oil & acne, and want more coverage, definitely try this stuff before you try more expensive alternatives.

Comments about Revlon ColorStay Makeup For Combo/Oily Skin:

I've been using this for about 3 weeks now but I'm a bit unsure about this product. I want so badly to love this. It truely is a full coverage and budget friendly foundation. However I'm struggling with it but it may just the way I apply it.

I use dr. brandt pores no more primer then apply this with a damp beauty blender. I use mac studio fix concealer then set my under eye with dermablend powder.

The finished look however is just odd. It's pretty facelike around my nose and chin and really inhances my pores. On the other hand I really love how smooth it feels and that I don't need to set my whole face. I am a long time lover of loreal's true match but wanted a little better matte coverage than that provides. I'm going to try applying with a brush and without primer maybe those are the issue.
