Comments about Chi Turbo Round Boar Brush:

This brush is not what I was expecting. It is hard to get through my hair while blow drying and my hair is actually pretty soft & fine. It takes way longer than it should and doesn't leave my hair as shiny and smooth as other boar hair bristled brushes I have used in the past.

Comments about Chi Turbo Round Boar Brush:

First of all, if you haven't tried a boar bristle brush, you are missing out. It literally will change your hairstyling life. It is a great size, comfortable grip, the bristles are not too rough on the scalp, and the size is just right for my shoulder-length, medium-thick hair. It appears/feels durable, works well with a blowdryer, and I have zero static or unruly fly-aways after blowdrying with it. Best boar bristle brush ever.

They do a great job, but several times I have gotten one that the bristles were falling out a lot each use and I have short hair!

Easy to use. It straightens my natural curl into a smooth bob.

Comments about Chi Turbo Round Boar Brush:

I purchased this brush for blow drying the ends of my hair under. I was concerned about a brush that would hold my hair while I blew it dry. I never thought a brush would hold it so tightly that by the time I free my hair from it, my hair no longer turns under. It basically defeats the purpose for which I purposes it :(

Some bristels on brushes can be a little to harsh for my curly hair, and not overyly thick hair, I think this would do nicely on thick hair.

This is a great brush! It's easy to use when i want to take the time to blow out my hair. My only complaint is that the rubber handle grabs hair.

I purchased this brush to use when blow drying my hair straight. It does not disappoint. It seems to get my hair smoother than the ceramic round brush that I previously used.

I have curly, fine, long hair. I've been trying to figure out what is the best kind/brand of hair brush or comb for my hair? In most health and beauty magazines they say boar bristle brushes. Most of the brushes look like they would tangle my hair??

                          A:

Due to the type and texture of your hair, we recommend to use a ceramic brush with nylon bristles rather than one with boar bristles. The boar bristles may tangle your hair and/or give you a straight result of a style with no body or volume. The boar bristle is most popular among stylists because it creates smoother looks and may give a longer lasting blowout. It really depends on what you want your finished style to be.

The best round brush to use for your particular hair type and texture would be a ceramic nylon bristle brush like CHI Turbo Round Nylon Brush. These will also give you a smooth and shiny look but with added volume:

Which size is recommended for long (about the middle of my shoulder blades) kind of wavey and kind of thin as far as the individual hairs themselves, but lots of them?

For long hair, we suggest the largest size brush: Large (1-1/2").
