Love this curling iron!

By HelloKittyRN

from Tampa FL

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

My hairdresser uses and recommends hot tool products on my hair.I use the 1in barrel for spiral curls that I separate and they last for at least 2 days ( even in Florida humidity). It heats up fast, curls easy and leaves my hair smooth and shiny. I like this better than me Nume. I'm getting another size to create different looks!

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

Purchased this iron about a year ago and the purple paint is already coming off of the barrel and attaches itself to the hair. Very disappointing.

I was told to buy ceramic to avoid hair sticking or getting snagged but both happened.
It does provide a nice curl and gets very hot though.

I have hair halfway down my back. What size should I use to create (beachy) loose waves? And if I have thick straight hair that usually falls quickly should I use the Purple or gold curler?

                      A:

The 1 1/2 inch barrel should work perfectly for you! And you can use either CeramicTI Tourmaline or Gold, depending on your preference. If your hair is damaged or over-processed, you may prefer the CeramicTI Tourmaline, since it produces far infrared heat for moisture retention. Enjoy!

                      A:

Titanium heats the fastest to the hottest temperature, so it is a great option for thick, coarse hair. Ceramic Tourmaline helps to infuse hair with moisture and shine, so it is a great option for damaged, distressed, or over-processed hair. We hope this extra info helps!

Both will work equally well. The difference is that the white and black curling iron is NanoCeramic, which is just a finer grade of ceramic.

To make it a wand, you can wrap the hair over the entire iron and clamp, or remove the clamp. You would pull off the iron stand from both sides of the iron and unscrew the clamp and remove.
