Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

I watched several tutorials on how to use this product. However, I could not curl my hair without my hair snagging on the clamp or without the curling creating the unflattering "crimp" in my hair. I ended up removing the clamp and now I much prefer the iron as a "wand."

Comments about Hot Tools CeramicTI Tourmaline Curling Iron:

This iron would be amazing- if my hair would stay! I don't use too much product in my hair so it's not weighed down, just a heat protectant and some hairspray. Ususally my hair holds a curl very well but when I use this iron ALL of the curl is gone within 2 hours. I've tried everything. What a waste of money.

The pricing was great however, it does not get that hot. You may want to opt for something with higher settings if you have thick/course hair. This would probably be great for thin hair.

                                    A:

Titanium heats the fastest to the hottest temperature, so it is a great option for thick, coarse hair. Ceramic Tourmaline helps to infuse hair with moisture and shine, so it is a great option for damaged, distressed, or over-processed hair. Gold heats quickly and evenly and is a great option for all hair types and textures.

If you looked at the irons under a microscope, it’s like the difference between granulated sugar and powdered sugar. The ceramic iron is smooth, but not like the smoothness of the NanoCeramic. Essentially what happens is that the ceramic is ground into a fine powder that is applied and fired onto the barrels multiple times. It will produce similar results with the difference being that the NanoCeramic iron will be even gentler on the hair than the regular ceramic.
