Gets the tangles out of my long fine hair without destroying it! If you have thick hair, I think it would only go through the top layer, but on finer hair it works well.

Boar bristles are the only way to treat your hair. The plastic bristles pull and tear, these do not.

This reminds me of my boar brush that target used to carry in store. It has both plastic and boar bristles but neither have the bulbs at the tips that can snag hair. I have extremely thick hair but the follicle itself is thin--- I just have a lot if it. And it works wonderfully.
