I use this whenever I use a straightening or curling iron. After I blow dry my hair, I spray this all over, concentrating on my ends. I let it set for a couple minutes then heat style. I don't really notice a hold or anything, but my hair is the healthiest it has ever been. Sprays a fine mist. No strong odor. Protects my hair.

At first i wasnt sure this product would actually work, like my thoughts were how can a spray protect my hair from heat? but i gave it a try and i LOVE it. i admit their are days where i forget to use it before applying heat to my hair and i can definitly notice a difference and i always regret not putting it in. =[
the only thing i dont like about it is that it makes my hair to wet when i spray it, even just a little

I use this religiously for flat iron or curling sessions. The smell is light and doesnt bother me. A little goes a long way. It dries quickly. And does what it says it will do..and for under five bucks, how can you beat that?

I wanted to find a good heat protectant spray to use before flat ironing. Heat Tamer did seem to help protect my hair from the flat iron's heat, and it did help set the straight style. However, Heat Tamer left my hair with a crunchy hairspray feel - not the flexible, soft hair advertised. I used it for three days, then stopped and used a masque to put moisture back into my hair. Won't be using again.

I have been growing my hair out for months now, and during this process my hair must be blow-dried to give it shape and volume. Prior to using TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray my ends would split and my hair would frizz. Every time I looked in a mirror I could see the damage the heat had done. This product, sprayed on wet hair just before blow drying, leaves my hair soft, practically frizz free, and healthy.
