Apply to freshly cleansed, exfoliated skin. Hold spray 6" away from body and sweep evenly across desired area to tan, keeping the can in constant motion. Stop spraying at the end of each stroke to avoid over application. Apply sparingly around rought skin like elbows, knees and ankles. For face, spray into hands and apply. Wash hands with soap and water immediately after use. Your sunless tan will begin to develop in 2-4 hours and last for days. Reapply as needed to maintain or deepen color.

I love this brand of self-tanner...its the only one I buy! However, I would not use it as an all-over spray for your body or legs, it does create a very uneven and sometimes splotchy tan. I use it mainly to add a touch of color to my face and sometimes arms, and it creates enough color that it doesn't look weird that I am just applying it to one part of my body.

I'm obsessed with being tan, so ever since I quit those carcenogenic tanning beds, I just had to have another fix! I've been sunless tanning for YEARS now and this is above and beyond, the best product I've come across. If I've already got a base tan, I go with the dark, but if I'm starting from scratch, then I stick with medium.
My best tip is to use a somewhat circular motion and hold the can about 4 inches away when spraying; I keep it constantly moving to avoid build up in one spot and have never had an issue! If you're seeing stripes or lines appear, that's proably user error, you just have to practice being much more detailed and making sure you don't miss any spots! Another hint, DO NOT spray your feet! The spray will naturally fall onto your feet as you spray, but if you directly spray your feet, you're just asking to end up with orange tootsies!

Today I have VERY orange legs - I followed the directions carefully - spraying as directed but still it streaked because you cannot see where & how much you have applied. I'm putting it in the trash!

It was horrible. When you spray it on it comes out clear so you dont know where you sprayed it. I even rubbed it in and in the next couple of hours i started looking like a zebra.

This is an excellent tanning product. The level 3 is the best. The level 2 is not very effective.

I really like this product because a big problem I have with other self tanners is that you have to rub the product in with your hands and even if I wash my hands my palms would be orangy and it leaves my hands looking my natural color and the rest of me tan! This product sprays on like hair spray and you don't have to rub it in at all. It coats your skin evenly with a light mist and it doesn't smell bad. The color can last up to a week for me as long as you don't exfoliate your skin. The con is when you stop using the product it fades unevenly in patches but you can always just exfoliate the tanner off. I have been using this product for about 3 years now and haven't found anything better. I prefer this to getting spray tanned at a tanning salon.

I tried this product out because it seemed like an easy way to get a sunless tan. However, the label seriously lies to you. Even when you follow all directions properly, the tan literally appears as lines--whether you rub it in or not. I tried it various ways over a few weeks, and the tan never got natural or even. Also, the color is very orange. I threw this product away.
