I have medium olive skin and bought 230 refined rose. I was hesitant because the last covergirl blush I bought didn't show up at all on my skin but I wanted to try something that was fast and compact for contouring. It shows up good on my skin and gives a subtle contour. I use a larger brush than the one it came with and I think that helps with blending.

The dark color is way too dark and when applied with the brush it comes with, it appears as just a dark line. You have to use a much larger blush brush and blend, blend for a very natural look. I end up using only the middle and light colors.

I had really high hopes for this contouring blush, but the color is so unnatural and WAY too dark for anyone with fair OR medium skin tones. NO matter how little or how much blending, the plum color looks terrible on fair skin! My skin tone usually works well with berry/plum colors but not this! Save your money!
