It looked great (read neutral) in the tube but on my lips it looked a bit orange...I couldn't seem to find a neutral tone that worked on my fair skin...highly pigmented as well

I bought the Va Va Violet shade for myself recently, and I was very happy when I applied it to my lips. I was worried it wouldn't be the shade I was looking for, I was looking for a very dark shade of lipstick that would fit that "oxblood" category. I didn't want it to be too red or too purple though, and I thought it was just right! It has a shiny look without looking glossy, and it lasted me all throughout my work day without having to re-apply. I want to buy more shades in this collection!

This is really a good OTC lipstick & very similiar to high end brands. It lasts as long as expected if you don't eat or drink but certainly not all day. The one thing I do really like is it has NO scent or taste at all.
