I have used a Speed Freak for years and years - this is my fourth one. I use them til they die. My hair stylist said Rusk is a great brand and also recommends this Speed Freak. I love the new black with pink accents!

Most powerful hair dryer I've owned & I have another name brand that cost twice the amount, promising all great things to hair, which are untrue, doesn't come close in comparison to Rusk Speed Freak!
The only drawback is that it is not lightweight, easily overlooked, its so powerful!

I have African American relaxed hair, and this dryer has not made a big difference with drying my hair at all. It's definitely not worth the price for what it does to my relaxed hair. A HUGE downer is the placement of the control buttons. I constantly seem to change the settings during drying due to the incredibly awful placement of the buttons. I will have no choice but to return this dryer. I'm sincerely disappointed!

Amazing! But a little hard to change speeds one handed sometimes. Hardly something to gripe about considering how lightweight it is.

I have long thick hair that I straighten. The drying time that I've saved by purchasing my new Rusk Speed Freak Dryer is priceless! I love this Hair dryer! I'm so glad I purchased it!

i use it daily. It has high heat and powerful.

I have frizzy hair that usually takes about twenty minutes just to dry with a dryer (no styling). And I always have to take a flat iron to it after I'm done. I dried AND styled my hair with just a round brush with this dryer in ten minutes yesterday, and it looks amazing. My only problem with the dryer is the weight. It is much heavier than my previous dryer was. Completely worth it though!

This is a great dryer. I bought it because it was a good price and my Chi that I use for work died. It dries hair quickly and smoothly. My complaints are that it is very heavy. It wouldn't be bad if it was only for personal use. But for professional use it gets a little strenuous. Also, the motor feels like it's placed too far back? It feels like it is out of balance. My arm has to battle the weight of the back of the dryer. Kind of odd.
