Comments about L'Oreal Feria Hi-Lift Browns Hair Color:
Unfortunately, this product did almost nothing to lighten my brown hair, though I can see where it might work for other hair types.
My hair texture is fairly course thick hair which tends to repel water, which admittedly is a hair type that sometimes resists dyes a bit more. My natural color is a medium brown (significantly lighter than the darkest "before" picture on the box) that tends to trend red when lightening (in the sun, etc.) After using this product as directed, I got a slight lightening, roughly equivalent to what I might expect after a month where I'm out in the summer sun a lot (I live in Portland, OR, so take "sun" lightly), minus the red. It's not noticeable unless you're looking for it. I only mixed half the ingredients (half the developer, half the colorant, half the "shimmer") since my hair is short, and I am thinking that a round two might yield lighter results so I'm not just throwing the rest away. Who wants to plan to do that though? If you have hair like mine, do NOT expect results anywhere close to what the box suggests. Hardly expect results at all.

Comments about L'Oreal Feria Hi-Lift Browns Hair Color:
Almost 3 yrs ago I went to a salon & paid over $300 to get my dark brown hair lightened & also to include highlights. My hair never recovered from the damage of 1) the initial service & 2) having them fix my bronze/copper colored result. A year ago I decided to try this product & on the 1st try-it was PERFECT. Exactly what I wanted. No bronze or copper...it lightened my dark brown hair to a very light brown with natural looking caramel & blonde highlights. I've been using this & it's sister product (sunkissed caramel) ever since. What's more - it's super easy to use! I highly recommend this to anyone with natural dark brown hair that's looking a lighter color.

Comments about L'Oreal Feria Hi-Lift Browns Hair Color:
Prior to using the product, my hair was medium brown. After using the product, my hair is still medium brown because the product did absolutely nothing to my hair. Actually, it made my hair look worse because before I used the product my hair was a rich shade of brown -- now I have a dull blah brown. My root area is just slightly lighter -- that is the only change, and it's barely noticeable. I followed the directions exactly. I also have 4 years of experience with coloring my own hair. The claim that you will get a highlighted or multidimensional color is false. This was a complete waste of time and money.

Comments about L'Oreal Feria Hi-Lift Browns Hair Color:
this product turned my hair orange/with brassy highlights.I've not colored in my hair in 2 yrs and it's kept healthy. There's no reason why this product shouldn't of worked on my hair, other than it'd not able to "lift" medium-brown hair like it says it does.I would not recommend using this product. If you want highlights,it's better to just get the cap.or have it done professionally at the salon.worst hair color i've ever used!

Comments about L'Oreal Feria Hi-Lift Browns Hair Color:
I have used this color before and was happy with it. This time, however, I got a nightmare color with horrible grey streaks throughout! There isn't even a hint of the lovely bronze color represented. I did not over process or ignore the guidelines, but even so, my hair is a disaster and I will have to cover it up. NOT happy. What a waste of time and MONEY. If I wanted to spend a mint I would have gone to a salon, not dyed my hair with a "hope for the best" product. Will NOT be buying again.

Used this product a few weeks ago after getting tired with my old color. Lasted maybe about a week before I started to see my natural color coming through. I was very disappointed!

Good for a change and I like the fact that it didn't turn my hair orange but a week later and my grays have little color left on them.

This was a waste of time. Product hardly changed my hair color. I have very little gray but there was zero gray coverage.

Comments about L'Oreal Feria Hi-Lift Browns Hair Color:
You need to dye your hair twice this color to get the desired result. I suggest you dye it once then a month later do it again and the color would be like on the box. Watch out it burns your scalp and you will look like you have a serious case of dandrif for like a week or two.
