I have been using L'oreal products for over 30 years and I have never been as dissatisfied with one of their products as I am with this. The color is DULL! The odor was overwhelming! It does NOT cover grey, AT ALL! And the box does not tell you this. My hair feels like steel wool after using this product. I'm glad this was not my first experience with L'Oreal, because if it was, I certainly would never buy their products again.

I highly recommend this product for lightening your natural dark hair, but be careful and follow the time limits, I let my roots sit for twice as long as recommended and had bright orange roots that I had to fix with a toning shampoo. I have long thick hair and used 2 boxes.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!! Used Dark Blond and it came out brunette and did not get rid of the gray.... I was already sandy blond and it darkened my hair way too much.... Very disappointed.... First and last time using this brand!!!!!

I was hesitant to do any box color only because in the past it has been mixed on the color outcome. so when I picked up a shade I loved I read online reviews and since they were all positive I went for it. It's not a real match to the box color but it is a great fit and still fits the description for me! I love it and will buy shades from this group again! Even and beautiful, and I am so so happy with it

Love this shampoo. A little goes a long way - makes tons of suds - and it cleans well enough that I use it every other day. I have been using this shampoo and conditioner ( I use the restructure conditioner) for a long time now. I started using it because it's 100% vegan and says so right on the bottle, plus it's sulfate free so I feel like it's not as harsh on my hair. I think it's aptly named too (ever strong), because in 2 years I have grown my hair from chin-length to waist-length with it.

I love this cleanser. It does not irritate my skin. It is actually gentle. ?I've had problems with other sensitive skin cleansers that have made my skin breakout but, this one doesn't. The pad is way more gentle than the clarisonic.

For years, I had paid to have my hair colored or foiled. I am now on limited income, and the coverage and color of this particular shade is outstanding. I am 60, and it makes me look 10 years younger. I exercise, eat right and use L'Oreal. Great product!

I've used L'oreal products for years which is my favorite and I could not be happier... I have colored my hair natural black. The color initially is a bit dark but lightens up to a beautiful dark shade of black within a week. It is a sultry eye popping color. It shines amazingly too. I am an eternal L'oreal fan.

I've used this product for close to 8 years. I loved it. But, the company keeps changing the product, and now unfortunately the dye weighs hair down too much . I now have to change products.............................................. Most women with dyed hair need body on the top of their hair and conditioner on the bottom. This is because a majority of people who use this product dye their hair at a professional salon every 3-6 months, and then touch up the roots with over the counter products in between professional appointments. Consequently, the hair on the bottom gets dry because it's been dyed several times while the hair on top gets flat because it hasn't been dyed professionally yet. Moreover, women with colored hair get gentle shampoos designed for color treated hair that cannot wash out all the natural oil in their hair at the root area................................................... Last time I dyed my roots with the 'new' improved preference formula, my hair got ridiculously flat on top -- even when I skipped the third 'shine serum' step. My theory is that the hair dye was combined with some conditioning formula or rinse. The conditioning weight simply would not wash out. I had to wash my hair 3 times with a strong clarifying shampoo and hot water to wash all the conditioner out that was combined with the hair dye. Once I finally got all the weighty 'goop' out of my hair, the rest of my color washed out with it, and I had to go to the salon to fix it..................................... I know what the company's thinking. They're thinking that women will associate hair dying with hair damage, so they combine the dye with conditioners to mask any damage. But Preference doesn't really damage hair that much, and the conditioners are completely unnecessary and cause additional problems. I buy hair dye to dye my hair, not to condition it.
