Comments about Chi Ceramic Hairstyling Iron:

Doesn't work the best on super curly hair. I would have to go over a section five times for it to be straight.

    It's okay.

    By Brit brat

Comments about Chi Ceramic Hairstyling Iron:

This straightener is okay. It really did damage my hair. Mine never stopped working but I could tell it was not working as good as before. I don't really like this straightener, it didn't keep my hair straight, my hair was still a little frizzy. It toke me a long time to straighten my hair, and it pulls my hair. I wouldn't recommend. It was a alright straightener. I like ghd better!.

Comments about Chi Ceramic Hairstyling Iron:

I've owned my Chi for over 5 years now and it still heats up quickly & works perfectly. My hair is smooth & shiny, and it can withstand southern humidity. Best value for the money.

Comments about Chi Ceramic Hairstyling Iron:

Just replaced my second one of these in about 8 months. I had to replace my first one only a couple months after purchasing it. If you're looking to spend extra money for a quality straightener, look elsewhere.

When it worked, it worked great, but the first one just stopped working and the top plate stopped heating on the second.

Love CHI flat irons but I have had two of this model die on me one died in less than 2 months. Ulta replaced but the next on died in less than a year. I wanted it to us abroad but will not buy another until they can prove the corrected there problems.

Comments about Chi Ceramic Hairstyling Iron:

Not sure if this is a miracle (based on some reviews I've read here) but I've had my CHI for over 5 years and is still working like day one. Granted, I don't use mine every day but about once or twice a week now but before I became a mom I used to use it every other day. I've read people complaining it damages your hair. Well of course it will like any other heating tool for Pete's sake!! But I feel like this one doesn't do as much damage as the revlon wet 2 straight which is what I had prior to my CHI and literally fried my hair. The only thing is missing is different heat settings. Other than that is great.

Comments about Chi Ceramic Hairstyling Iron:

Over the last 7 years I have owned 5 CHI irons, because without fail once the CHI was just over a year old it would just quit turning on. I traveled between parent's and friend's houses a lot when I was younger and just assumed it was my fault for not taking good care of it. When I moved out and quit all the traveling the same thing happened just after 13 months. I will say CHIs customer service is not the greatest. I would just be cautious with this product, because it is quite an investment and if it's just going to last you 2 years at the most what's the point?

Comments about Chi Ceramic Hairstyling Iron:

I don't know what they are doing differently with this iron, but it just isn't the same as my old original CHI iron. The one I purchased about 7 years ago made my hair unbelievably shiny. This one just didn't give that shine I loved. I'm returning this and am now on the search for an iron that is comparable to the "original" CHI.

Comments about Chi Ceramic Hairstyling Iron:

I bought this a while a go, and I've been using it every day. It works just like the first day I bought it! My Mom has had hers for 14 years and only had to replace it once. I used to use the GHD, which is amazing, but my GHD only lasted a year and then it randomly stopped working, plus you get the same results with a chi, I'll def buy another when mine stops working (which will be a looong time) I have course frizzy hair, and it makes it look pin straight and sleek. :) I'm glad I bought this!
