I use about 4 coats of this on its own. I work as a nurse & am constantly washing my hands. This stuff stays on for days with minimal chipping. I am so impressed! A few people have asked me if my nail color is gel. It stays shiny like gel. Doesn't last as long as gel does but for me, it lasts longer alone than combined with regular polish. I have put Essie light pink colors over this & it does chip after a day of work. Alone, it's awesome!

This is a great base coat that provides a fast-drying, smooth canvas for the next step of your nail endeavors. It even works well alone, as it's a nice & light neutral shade. It fulfills its duties as a base coat, but I can't say if it makes my nails any stronger, as I've only had it a week. So far, my nails (the nails themselves, not the polish) haven't chipped or peeled. It's a good sign! My favorite of the base coats I've used so far. I don't know that I'll need to try any more :)

LOVE THIS!! EVER SINCE I STARTED USING IT, MY NAILS LOOK SO NICE AND I LOVE THAT ITS NOT COMPLETELY CLEAR BUT HAS A WHITE TONE TO IT.

I wanted something to keep my nails strong and healthy so they would stop chipping right as they were finally getting long. This base coat by Essie is a good fast drying nail polish with protein that helps my nails to stay strong and keep growing. The polish can also be worn as a clear coat that keeps nails strong.

I use it as a base/color and then put clear over the top. It has a nice light milky white color to it and looks great as a natural color

This product is amazing. I am a server so I am constantly washing my hands and damaging my nails. This base coat keeps my polish looking perfect for about a week. I'll be able to see my new nail growth at the cuticle before my polish chips. It prevents the nasty yellow color that can occur from polish. I use this without a top coat and it still does great at keeping my nails looking great. Absolutely love this product.
