I had my hair dyed red at a salon not too long ago. This color is the closest I could find to what I got in the salon. It is a little thin and splashes a little, but I also have trouble dying my own hair due to the thickness and length.

Wow! I wanted a red velvet hair color like Ariana Grande's and this gave me exactly that. I love my new red hair! The only bad part is it stains, very bad. So use a towel you couldnt care less about, wear a shirt you dont mind getting stained and lay out newspaper everywhere. The dye turns the color of dark blood and gets everywhere so be careful.

I am a natural red head, but I've always liked the darker shades of red. I went from a medium strawberry blonde to this color and I love it! It radiates in the sun, there are so many built in highlights and low lights, and I will use this color for years to come!

The only negative thing I can say about it, is the "power red" additive to the dye 1) makes a huge mess just opening the tube 2) stains horribly if it drips on anything and 3) is a big pain to wash out. The kit does come with a foaming shampoo to help washing it out that feels great when it lathers but you will have a bit in your towel for the next few showers.

i used this a while back and found that i was OKAY with the color for the first few days, but by the end of the week the color was already back to a brassy brown. i used this to start dying my hair red and, yes, i know that red fades the quickest. but such an expensive brand should not fade within days of use. also, the box labels these are "intense," i definitely disagree. my natural color is a medium dark brown, somewhere between the second and third swatches on the side of the box. when i used this product, it merely tinted my hair to a darker red brown. more auburn, i suppose, where i was looking for a vibrant, rich red.

Anyone who has dyed their hair red knows that it fades quickly; it's a high maintenance color. This is definitely the best red dye I've ever used. I was impressed with how vibrant it came out, and it lasted much longer than I expected.
My hair was a reddish brown when I used this, and it came out gorgeous, pretty much exactly as the box indicated.

After application, the color was rich and vibrant, but several washes later, it is quickly fading. Although I am using a special color shampoo, the dye just doesn't want to hold.

Seriously RED hair color, whenever I use an at home kit, I always go back to this one! Smells better, the color lasts long and come with excellent shampoo and conditioner.

Applying did not take a great deal of time. it takes 25 minutes to keep product in hair. Not so bad but less time would be great too!

Color rinsed out well! No color on pillow at all on first night. Seems to have left my hair in good condition.
