I was hoping to find something at Ulta to help control my acne but this caused me to break out and made my face itchy and painful. I do not have sensitive skin so I was surprised that my experience with this product and brand was so awful. I had much higher expectations. I returned the product to Ulta without any problems.

My face burned so badly with this product, but higher concentrations of salicylic acid gel didn't bother me. I am apparently allergic to another ingredient. I'll stick with the cheaper stuff that works great!

I was a little hesitant at first to pay so much money for face stuff but... it was worth the purchase. First, I got a guide in the 30 day acne kit that told me how much of every product to use (so you don't use too much). Using all of the product in the kit as directed per the guide, and using it almost everyday, twice a day, it lasted me more than 4 months! Purchasing the Murad products is PAINFUL to my wallet but I know that these products will last me forever. I think that Murad leaves my skin moisturized and healthy. In particular, this toner works great for me as long as I use a moisturizer- otherwise it could leave skin a little dry. It is made to work in conjunction with a moisturizer tho. It's my new favorite brand of skincare.

My daughter has tried every brand on the market. Murad was recommended by Ulta and there has been no looking back. Kate's skin was literally burnt by a few of the other products on the market. Not Murad! Her rosacea is better and her acne is cleared up!
