I'd tried everything to improve the appearance of a 7 inch surgical scar from a procedure I had about 6 months ago. I regularly use other Murad products, so I gave this a try. I had amazing results. In a few weeks, it faded my scar from red/purple to pink/ silver.

I tried this because my freckles were too noticeable. I was hoping for two particularly dark freckles to go away but after 5 weeks, they are still there. However, they are less noticeable and I have notice an improvement in my skin texture. It definitely lightens and some light freckles are gone, but I wouldn't say it's a miracle worker. I am still going to use it though because it has helped even my tone.

I use this product every day on dark spots or uneven skin areas. You don't need a lot. Place a small dot on the back of your hand and use the back of your other hand to gently rub it in.

It did make my skin noticeably softer and smoother, however I bought it to help fade away my old acne scars and so far it hasn't done much. In fact, I was using another product before for half the price that was working much better. I'm done with half the bottle, so I'll finish the whole thing in case some miracle happens by the third month....but honestly I wouldn't but it again.

If you never buy anything buy this.
First of all I live in Nevada desert, where years of desert sun can be brutal on anyone's skin
I am in my 50's, wish I had started using this much sooner. Every night before bedtime I wash my face and put this on. Before using this product my face looked tired, old and dirty. Within the first week I started noticing a dramatic difference. More than that my husband keep saying how much younger I looked and how pretty I was even when I was not wearing make up at all! I used to wear make up to cover up my dark spots and now I wear make up when I just want to show off my new skin. Thank-you Murad.

It's better than average. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and I already see my complexion evening out. It's a very slight difference, but my scars are fading and my skin texture is evened out a bit more. I am Asian, have combination skin, and I actually have old acne scars from picking as a teenager (now I'm 27) but only breakout occasionally. I also have light patches from eczema too, so I was surprised to find out it didn't irritate those either. It doesn't cause breakouts at all, but it is a bit drying. I recommend putting on a light moisturizer after this. It is pricey so honestly I probably won't buy it again since the results aren't drastic, but I'll use up the whole bottle in case it takes a bit longer for it to work.

I have not been using this long, but it appears to be helping with sun spots on my cheeks. I like that it is not oily, as I have oily skin.
