Comments about Japonesque Travel Blush Brush:

I recently bought several Japonesque brushes and found the quality inconsistent. This brush is a higher priced one for the brushes in this range, yet possessed hairs of lesser quality than the others. I kept three others from this range that I bought, but returned this one (The silver handled range, not the black handeled 'Pro'). I absolutely would have kept it if it had the same quality hairs as the other brushes seem to possess.

Comments about Japonesque Travel Blush Brush:

This is the softest makeup brush I have ever owned! I use it every time I do my makeup, which is several times a week, and with regular washing it has lasted me over 10 years! Still just as good as the day I got it. I use it to lightly dust my finishing powder, and I could not be happier with it. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

I had this same brush before and needed a new one. The new one doesn't seem to have the same application feel - it's not as smooth and I find myself having to blend with another applicater.

Comments about Japonesque Travel Blush Brush:

The softness of the bristles are to die for, it feels like feathers across my face! However, it doesn't have a round shape to it, so my blush application looked streaky. I now just use this for translucent powder and it's great for that!

Comments about Japonesque Travel Blush Brush:

Loved the size and initial softness. But after less than a year of occasional travel use and babying the brush with high priced brush cleaner/conditioners, it began shedding like my cat in spring all over my cheeks. Would not buy again!

              • Q:

a few years ago, i bought japonesque brushes made from animals such as sable and squirrel - at least, this is what the packaging claimed -- but now, i noted that there's no mention of what the brushes are made of -- has japonesque stopped using 'real' animal hair? i wanted to get a couple of brushes which are missing from my collection. i'd appreciate yr detailed reply

                  A:

Japonesque brushes are made of both natural and synthetic fibers. Different fibers are used depending on the function of the brush. The Japonesque Travel Blush Brush is a blend of natural fibers.
