Product overheated and kept shutting down even after a few minutes of use. Thanks to ultas return policy I was able to get a tool that worked.

Comments about Helen Of Troy 1 Inch Professional Hot Air Brush:
This works really well on my fine hair. By the time I have my makeup on after I shower, my hair is dry enough to be styled with this. Gives hair a lot of fullness. The only hesitation I have is that the last one of these I bought only lasted a year or so before the lock quit working on it and I had to toss. I know someone else who had one that didn't work for more than a year or so, either. Good product, just hopefully by now they have improved it so that it lasts longer.

Comments about Helen Of Troy 1 Inch Professional Hot Air Brush:
I have found the air brush works much better, for me, if I blow dry my hair first.

Comments about Helen Of Troy 1 Inch Professional Hot Air Brush:
The device has a curl release, not conviently located and the button was difficult to use. I used the brush to make make a loose curl. I was affraid thay my hair would get so tangled in the "brush" that I wouldn't be able to get my hair out of the brush. With a little work and some pain I freed my hair. I returned the item.

Comments about Helen Of Troy 1 Inch Professional Hot Air Brush:
I like that this dryer's barrel has to be unscrewed to remove. I have had problems with other brands where the barrel just pops off when using. I also love the barrel unwind button for curls. But I wish this dryer was ionic or ceramic. I have natural curly hair and use this to tame down the curls. But it doesn't reduce the frizz or create shine. I have to use a finishing oil on the ends to keep the waves defined and on the top to keep stray hairs from being flyaway. But compared to the Revlon one I have been using that does all this but keeps breaking, I will buy this again in a heart beat.

Comments about Helen Of Troy 1 Inch Professional Hot Air Brush:
I almost didn't buy this air brush because it has only 250 watts of power. But I have shortish, thinnish hair, so thought I'd give it a try, especially since the price is very reasonable and I was using my 20% off coupon. Turns out, I'm glad it doesn't have any more than 250 watts - LOL!! This is the perfect size and perfect output for my hair. After I bought mine, I found out my sister (who has long thick dyed red hair) was using the same dryer in a slightly larger barrel size. She loves hers also!!
