Comments about Palladio Oil Absorbing Rice Powder:

I love this foundation/finishing powder. It blends well, and the color is really nice (I got natural). I apply it after my makeup and it stays not only matte all day, but it keeps my makeup fresh. The only problem is that it is so messy. It really does get everywhere when you open it, and the holes for the powder are too large. Wouldn't trust putting it in my makeup bag. BUT for the price and the quality this stuff is amazing and well worth a try. Will be repurchasing.

Comments about Palladio Oil Absorbing Rice Powder:

So I have extremely oily skin, as in I wash my face and 15 minutes later my skin is greasy. However, I don't have any acne or pimples, just really oily skin. Lots of products made to combat oil are targeting skin that also has acne, so they're often designed to cover up blemishes and can be thick and uneven. However, this product is perfect for me because it goes on smooth and silky and is semi sheer so it doesn't make me look like I stuck my face in a pile of flour. I prefer a more natural look for my face makeup so I use bare minerals powder to lightly cover my face and then I apply this rice powder. Next I apply bare minerals all over warmth powder to give my face some color. I live in Houston, and as anyone who lives in a hot and humid climate can tell you, throughout the day you're gonna sweat and your face is gonna get moist. After using this powder is my face completely dry at the end of the day? No, there's some moisture if you touch it. Even so, the moisture is not visible and my face looks 100x better than it does on days I do not use this product. Also let it be known that I do not reapply this powder throughout the day and if I did I'm sure it would keep my face completely matte. In terms of color, I buy the colorless powder. Naturally, colorless powder is white-ish. So if you apply a ton of powder to your face you're going to look a little pale. That's why I apply my bronzer over the powder to hide any paleness. I also use a powder brush to apply the product so it goes on thin. If I'm staying at home and don't feel like wearing makeup but also don't want to have an oily face, I'll apply just apply the rice power without adding a layer of bronzer. Yes I look a little more pale, but the powder is sheer enough that it's really not that bad. I've tried Tarte Amazonian Clay powder and other more expensive translucent powders and I can testify that this powder is just as good and it gets the job done for a fraction of the price. Bottom line, I love it.

This is very light and smooth and makes
My pores look small. I stay matte longer than usual but I still end up a little oily through the day. Only cons are the packaging. It's a pain. It'd be impossible to travel with but good at home. It does have a scent but it wears off and I think it smells nice

the product itself is AMAZING! it's the packaging that lost it a star! it doesn't seal for travel and getting to the product is the tricky part. TRY NOT TO SPILL ANY PRODUCT! it's a godsend!

I have extremely oily skin and this powder just does it for me! It's extremely easy to apply and it leaves my skin feeling super smooth. Also before using the powder I would have to use blotting paper every hour or so, with this I rarely if ever have to blot after six hours!

      Great setting powder

      By Fragilegirl

      from Delaware

Comments about Palladio Oil Absorbing Rice Powder:

A little bit goes a long way. Don't bother with the little enclosed puff, use a fluffy powder brush to pick up small amounts at a time and dust over your face to set makeup. Covers well enough to replace powder foundation for light coverage. Matte finish lasts for hours. Dust a little over your eyelashes before applying mascara for a nice volumizing effect. I deducted one star as the fragrance, while not overwhelming, is unnecessary.

Comments about Palladio Oil Absorbing Rice Powder:

Bought this powder in store to help with an oily t-zone and breakouts around the jawline due to warmer weather. I got the translucent shade.

The powder goes on smooth (with a brush)and a little goes a long way. The powder really does help keep you matte and controls oil. I've been using for a week now and my break out has subsided. Also, this powder was under $4.50, which is a great deal.

The puff that comes with the powder is not useful. A brush allows you to apply smoothly and lightly. The powder is a bit messy like most loose powders. I wish it was fragrance-free. I don't mind the fragrance, which is a retro floral scent, but I prefer fragrance-free products for my face.

HOT & HUMID? RICE POWDER TO THE RESCUE!

      By Blackbird

      from New Orleans, Louisiana

Comments about Palladio Oil Absorbing Rice Powder:

I have oily combination acne-prone skin so being able to keep my face from becoming an oily mess in the summer is crucial, especially in the South! I've tried multiple inexpensive/expesnive setting makeup powders but this is the only one that 1. doesn't change the color of my foundation 2. keeps my face naturally matte 3. doesn't cause any breakouts! 4.is very light weight in a good way 5. a little goes a long way
-This is everything I could wish for in a setting powder inexpensive and effective!!!!
