I LOVE THE LARGE SOFT CURLS THE JUMBO SET OF HOT ROLLERS GIVES MY HAIR.I FIRST RECEIVED THE CONAIR SET INCLUDING SMALL MED AND LARGE ROLLERS AS A GIFT AND UPON USING THEM DID NOT LIKE THE SMALL FRIZZY CURLS AND EXCHANGED IT FOR THIS SET.WHEN USED ON MY HAIR,WHICH IS MEDIUM-THICK AND SHOULDER LENGTH WITH LAYERS AND NATURAL WAVE/FRIZZ,I CAN ACHIEVE WHAT USUALLY TAKES THE BLOW DRYER THEN STRAIGHTENER AND A CURLING IRON.NOW I CAN PUT THE CURLERS IN AND THEN FINISH GETTING READY WHILE ACHIEVING BETTER SMOOTH SHINY BOUNCY CURLS IN LESS TIME.I WOULD LIKE TO SWITCH OUT THE SUPER JUMBO WITH MORE JUMBOS THOUGH.SUPER JUMBO WORKS BETTER ON LONGER HAIR,JUST ADDS VOLUME NOT CURL ON MID-LENGTH HAIR.
Comments about Conair Jumbo Roller Instant Heat Hair Setter:
I LOVE these curlers. i put them in first thing in the morning and they're ready in 20 minutes max. they last all day too. they will not give you tight curls but all i wanted when i bought them were loose curls
Comments about Conair Jumbo Roller Instant Heat Hair Setter:
These got awfully hot - burned my fingers/ears a few times. The clips fall apart easily which is a pain - they also leave crimps in the hair. Mine stopped working after six months of light use... so surprised because Conair hair curlers usually keep going and don't quit. Don't recommend.
Comments about Conair Jumbo Roller Instant Heat Hair Setter:
Read the comments by Ruby D the Prof'l Stylist dated 3/12/2010. I agree 100% with her comments. I could actually use more rollers in the set so I add a few from an old set but love the way it makes my hair look. Leave the curlers in longer for a more set look, less time for smooth, straight hair with body galore. I had to purchase the Conair Clips separately as they work best but a good investment considering I've been using the same hair setter 365 days a year for over 4 years. I throw the curlers in, apply make-up and I'm good to go. They get plenty hot but it doesn't bother me as my hair is thick. If the heat is too much just open the lid and see if it reduces the heat. Yes, the lid cracks but no other cons.

I like the jumbo rollers which are not easy to find.

Comments about Conair Jumbo Roller Instant Heat Hair Setter:
I have used the curlers 3 times now and a few of the clips that keep them in fell apart. I was able to put them back together but they are poor in quality. I like the rollers, just not sure if I am using them correctly yet because they don't make my hair sleek or curly?

Comments about Conair Jumbo Roller Instant Heat Hair Setter:
At first I loved the way it made my hair look. Now that my hair is longer and naturally thick, they stay in for about an hour and then flatten.

Comments about Conair Jumbo Roller Instant Heat Hair Setter:
I use these rollers daily. The rollers are a little larger than usual but I like that because it does not create frizzy, kinky curls to my already wavy-curly hair. I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone with curl already in there hair. It Gives a smooth finish overall. The clips that hold the curler in place are great.

Comments about Conair Jumbo Roller Instant Heat Hair Setter:
I have shoulder length hair and these rollers are a little too big for the length of my hair. They don't provide very much curl. Rather they do provide a great amount of volume, but the clips leave dents in my hair after taken out. Not sure how to get around that because the clips are necessary to hold the rollers in.

Comments about Conair Jumbo Roller Instant Heat Hair Setter:
I am a professional stylist and have my own salon. I am on my third set of the Conair 12 jumbo rollers 1 1/2". I don't understand the con comments by some of the reviewers. As far as these rollers not getting hot enough I wish I could turn the temperature down. These rollers heat up more than enough and you will need to put some type of protection between your ear and the roller. If anyone thinks they do not get hot enough, then the set was not heated up thoroughly or they have a bad set. These rollers heat up in about 2 minutes. I don't find that too long. Yes, I am a stylist and personally have very long hair and these do a gorgeous job on my hair. I cannot say how many compliments and questions I receive on what do I do to style my hair. Of course, you need to use good moisturizing shampoos and condition your hair regularly. It stands to reason that hot rollers, hair dryers, irons, etc. can dry the hair out. Get your ends trimmed at least every two months. Condition-Condition-Condition. Only you can judge how long to leave them in. It depends on how straight or curly your hair is and what effect you are looking for. If your hair gets too tight/curly use your blow dryer to pull it out. I suggest to start out leaving them in only a minute or so and then go from there. I turn them on to heat them up as I am getting close to finishing drying my hair. I turn them off right before I start to use them. These rollers get HOT so be careful. My only complaint is that the plastic cover on every set I've had does eventually start to crack which is something that Conair does need to deal with and this is why I have given 4 starts instead of 5. Other than that they are excellent. Many of my customers have purchased these rollers because they like how their hair has looked when I have used them on their hair. If the weather is lousy and you've been in and out all day and are then going out in the evening you can put these for a minute or two and your are ready to go. Often I leave the hot rollers in for a little over a minute and then put large velcro rollers in while I am doing my makeup or whatever. Hit the rollers with heat from your dryer. This system works great. I hope my comments have been helpful.
