I use this for the tanning bed and it really maximizes my tan! It does not protect like sunscreen but if you just want a little color, it works great for that.

I use this every time I tan, which is almost every day. I don't have a problem with dryness but I also use an after tanning lotion. The smell is tolerable but not the best.

I've sworn by Hawaiian Tropic products for outdoor use for years. So, since I just started indoor tanning about a month ago, and have sensitive skin. I was wary of the expensive, heavy bronzers and "sparkly" lotions that my salon AND gym offer. I looked online to find a more natural solution. It smells light and beachy, it's not too heavy, and I've even used it on my face without any breakouts! My tan looks even and natural, and no skin irritation or problems at all. I just wish it came in a bigger bottle, with a pump.

I cruise every year so I start to tanning 2 months before I leave. I get a nice base tan with this product. I have tried the expensive lotions, the tingle lotions (hate them)the tingle lotion burned my skin. Hawaiian tropics has always carried the best lotions indoor or outdoor. You can buy this at target or ulta. When you first start tanning start with 5 mins and move the mins up every couple of days until u get to the 20 mins u will see the tan. I do alternate and go in a higher power bed once I have been tanning for about a month and I only do that once a week. But this product does work seriously, I cant see myself paying 70 bucks for their lotion it aint going to happen besides their lotions have bronzers which wash off waste off money. Today my sister gave me a tingler i never use them and against my better judgement i did and now I am burnt never again I will continue to use Hawaiian tropic indoor u wont regret it trust that!

This lotion works just as well as the $60+ lotion! There is no bronzer in it which I like and has a great smell. It's a little thick but it leaves skins so smooth it's a good thing. I highly recommend!!

I am going on a cruise and wanted to develop a tan before going. I grabbed this lotion because it was the only one on the shelf, and friends told me I should use a lotion while going in the tanning bed. I love it!
I do not look orange, and I was able to notice a difference after 1 session.
You definitely don't need to put a lot on. A thin layer is all that's needed. It gets very hard to blend on your skin when you use a lot. I haven't noticed that it's made my skin dry, as others have stated, and I use it about 3-4 times/week (I do have sensitive skin, and haven't broken out from it). The smell isn't too bad, either. Not the prettiest smell in the world, but it's tolerable and doesn't smell like chemicals.
