I use this eyeliner with the Studio Gear eyeliner brush as it is the only one I've found thin enough to make precision lines. This eyeliner is great because you can control the depth of the color and the thickness simply by adding more or less water. Great for the retro glamour look. It is a bit tedious for on the go touch ups however, so I apply at home and take a liner pen with me for out and about touch ups. Hands down my favorite liner I've ever used.

I cannot get this thing to work out for me, I even watched youtube tutorials to make sure I was doing it right! what a waste of money.. The color is just not applying.

After a year of trying various eyeliner pencils, with disasterous results, I decided to return to a cake style liner with an angled brush. Since I have very dry and sensitive eyes, I went on the internet to read numerous reviews of various products. Studio Gear came up with exceptionally good reviews on all the points that would matter to me. THEY WERE RIGHT---THIS CAKE LINER IS THE BEST! Try it, you won't be sorry. I particularly like the fact that by adding more water you can make a wider line, although I prefer a thin line. LOVE IT!

This was my favorite brand of eyeliner after a long search. But then they discontinued the brown color. I have "autumn" coloring and the black is too harsh for me. Really want the brown and so the search begins again. It applies great with a thin angled wet brush. So if you like black, go for it.

I bought the blackest option provided and it still came out a wispy gray. It smudged everywhere. Worthless. Returned it the next day

I have been on a mission to find the best cake eyeliner for the past 1 1/2 after the benefit cake eyeliner I have been using for the past 11 yrs had been discountiuned!
I tried over 7 different brands trying to replace my cake liner.
This is this winner, bold black color does not run, crack, or smear!

I read that this product was great for a cake eyeliner and stayed on. Not true! I wore it everyday for a week to work and I had raccoon eyes by mid morning.

I was looking for a good cake liner after benefit stopped making baby cake. I like this one, and compared to baby cake it's about half the price! Instead of spritzing the liner, I get an angled brush wet to apply.
