Comments about Dermablend Loose Setting Powder:

This is one of my favorite setting powders to keep in my kit. It really does everything it says. The most important thing to do is follow the directions on how to properly use it. You also do not need alot at all.. Also you want to make sure you buff it in good if you are going to be using it with flash photography... it can produce flashback if not properly buffed in or to much is used.. as long as you use a light hand and let it sit for 2 mins then brush off the excess powder and buff it in you will have great results.

It does good setting my foundation. I wished I didn't have to make my own color by combining the white and beige. Wished they had a bigger selection of colors to choose from. I cover a very large birthmark that is on my check, neck and chest area.

Comments about Dermablend Loose Setting Powder:

Lightweight, reasonably long lasting setting powder, works great! Have not found anything to compare in other brands. The only thing is that there are only two colors and I have to rely on my eye to mix the right color for me consistently. Also, it does require reapplication and the packaging does not travel well, so I have to purchase another brand in a small compact.

Could I use this over the Dermablend Intense Powdercamo or would the result be too cakey?

                  A:

We do not suggest using the Loose Setting Powder over the Intense Powder Camo. Instead you can use Set + Refresh which is a lightweight spray that locks in makeup and enhances skin's overall complexion throughout the day.

              • Q:

Is this good for setting concealer under the eyes? Also, is the warm saffron a good color to choose for my dark skin tone? For reference, I wear deep honey in the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation and I mix soft sable and cocoa (111 and 112) in the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation. Thank you.

Using the Setting Powder over your foundation helps to ensure smudge- and transfer-resistance for up to 16 hours. It does not have a waterproofing effect.

The translucent shade applies invisibly, so it is suitable on every skin tone. We recommend applying a sheer layer by tapping off excess powder from your brush to prevent any white cast or flashback effect.

What color would I choose, and will it work with combination oily, acne, and extreme flaking dry patch pitted ski?. My skin color is pretty pale but I have dyed my hair dark brown. Should I use no color or will this make me look like a ghost or cool beige, will this be too dark? I do use darker color bronzer around the outer edge of my face.
