I love this styling tool! It does everything! It's a straightener and an amazing curling iron all in one! No need for several tools when you have this one!

Great if you're on a budget

I love this iron. Its cheap but it actually works. I can make curls, waves, straighten it. My biggest suggestion is to play with it a bit. It gets really hot so I would recommend gloves. Don't use the split part as a clamp for curls. Simply use it as a wand. You will want a higher heat for the curl guide. hasn't fried my hair at all but I use a low setting. I would recommend if you don't want to spend tons on a tool.

Product says it will straighten your hair. Then you read the insert and it describes a tool that is more for curls and does not get hot enough to straighten anything.

Works way better than a curling iron or straightner

        By AJohnson

Comments about Remington T Studio Silk 1"" Styling Wand with Attachment:

I bought this because I had my hair cut in layers so that I would actually have to do something with it other than pulling it up in a pony tail or whatever. I've only used it for a short time but so far it's working great. I used a regular large curling iron and that wouldn't even curl my hair. I used a straightner to curl it and the curls were to tight and looked awful after I tried to loosen them up. I tired this without the sleeve and it curled my hair really well in just about 5 seconds. I let the curling iron sit for 30 seconds and got little to no results. I wrapped my hair around this and 5 seconds later I had a nice curl. I'm going to try the sleeve tomorrow and see if I like that. So far, I love it. I really wish it would have come with a glove but I'm going to see if I can order one on here. Give it a try, you really can't go wrong, especially if you have hard to curl hair like mine. My hair is thick and naturally straight as straight can get. I'll post before and after photos tomorrow when I use it.

Great As Straightener, Just ok as curler. A bit of a gimmick.

Comments about Remington T Studio Silk 1"" Styling Wand with Attachment:

It does work well as a smoother/straightener and would be great to travel with. As a curler, it's a bit gimmicky and not really different than less expensive wands. It does get very hot so you don't need to spend much time. It did not come w any type of pouch/case and no heat glove either. Maybe with time I will change my mind, but right now it takes some learning curve to use it. Will try to update review later if it permits. One annoyance is that while you are working with it, it is easy to accidentally move the temperature dial and/or turn the unit off.
