I love my blue light and take it when I travel however.....the airlines removed my cartridge and threw it out! I don't think it is a lithium battery but it was a costly lesson for me!

      Found the right product!

Comments about Tria Acne Clearing Blue Light:

I've suffered from what my dermatologist diagnosed as hormonal acne. I was on some prescriptions and my skin wasn't clearing up. I found it to be frustrating. So I looked into alternatives and stumbled upon the blue light. I'm SO HAPPY I did. my skin is on the mend. I use it every other day and my skin is now healing. because of the cystic type of acne and I'm black, I've had some hyperpigmentation, which is too clearing up. I'm satisfied with this product and just wished I would have found it 3 years ago. worth every penny.

Comments about Tria Acne Clearing Blue Light:

So the first time I used the light, I used it as prescribed, everyday for about a year. It was good at keeping my face free of the cystic acne, but it still wasn't clearing up the small, tiny bumps on my forehead, plus I was still breaking out on my chest and back occasionally. I eventually set it aside and decided that I just needed hormone control, so begins birth control for the past couple of years. That definitely worked wonders for my chest and back, and my face saw improvement as well. Then a few months ago, I decided I would bring back the laser in ADDITION to the pill, and it was the miracle combination I have been looking for. Having the pill there to supplement the light and vise versa has yielded fantastic results. Also I assume that when they are asking me the frequency and severity of my breakouts that they mean before the light?? Obviously not severe or daily now. In case there was confusion.

I am 18 years old and have dealt with horrible bacteria-caused acne for the past 2 years. I tried so many products including prescription creams and spot treatments, but nothing worked. Even a prescribed antibiotic from my dermatologist didn't help. I splurged on this blue light as my last hope because nothing worked. NOTHING. Amazingly, after just a month of using this product, my acne has decreased and isn't flaring up as much. I am still getting pimples, but they are a lot smaller than before. Hopefully with continued use, my acne will be absolutely clear! This product is awesome.

I am in my 40's and still suffer from hormonal acne. From the age of 15 until now, I have tried almost every product and prescription. I have spent countless money on estheticians services and products, but regardless of all of that, I would still manage to get a volcano or two somewhere. I had read about the Tria Blue Light and figured it was worth a try. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER THAT I HAVE NOT HAD A BREAKOUT!!! Thank you Tria for making a device that actually works!

I have been prone to breakouts since my mid twenties and am now in my early thirties. The blue light has helped tremendously and I am only about a week into using it. I have had no new blemishes pop up and the current ones are almost gone. The texture of my skin has also improved as well as the pigmentation. I am certainly hooked on the blue light and would recommend it to anyone that asks.

Love this Acne Clearing blue light! I have tried others in the past for my adult or hormonal acne and none of them worked. Decided one last time to try the blue light technolgy since the Tria one is FDA cleared (And Mindy Kaling seems to be a fan!)Works great! Not quite a spot treater but close! Easy to use, only 5 minutes a day and clears up my ance. No harsh perscribed chemicals to put on my face anymore! The cleanser is my new favorite cleanser too. Foams up well, leaves no dryness or tightness and gets off all of my makeup.

Throughout my childhood I suffered from acne. I never had the major breakouts but enough to make me self-conscious about my looks. So now being a Mother of 6 this is something that I don’t want my children to have to experience. About one month ago I purchased the Acne Clearing Blue Light for my 14 year old son who has severe breakouts of acne. We have tried numerous over the counter skin care products and nothing seems to help long term nor efficiently. I noticed he was becoming more self-conscious about his looks, just as I did at his age. He was very nervous the night we were going to do the first treatment but just seconds into it, the nervousness was gone and the excitement of what the results were going to be had taken over. Of course, he wanted instant results! However, within 3 days of using the Acne Clearing Blue Light he was starting to see these results. The acne was starting to decrease in size and areas were becoming clearer and smoother. Since starting the treatments one month ago, not only has my son’s acne decreased but his moral has increased!! He feels really good about himself again. Which makes this investment worth every penny!! I am very eager to use the other Tria Lasers for myself since I have seen how wonderful this one has been for my son!---Proud Mother

Comments about Tria Acne Clearing Blue Light:

Being a 20 year old male who has managed to tackle and control "hormonal related zits" etc is not the easiest task to achieve. In the last 5 years, I have spent well over $5,000 on my skin as well as countless hours of research and it has paid off. I have had absolutely no invasive work (Botox etc) done and people constantly ask my secret to clear ageless skin. Obviously at age 20 you probably don't have to worry about lines and wrinkles but i literally do not have 1 age related wrinkle, fine line, or crease on my face and i have smoked cigarettes (major cause of early aging/other skin issues) since i was 16. I will admit the Tria is not the only big ticket skincare device in my bag of tricks but i can say it is very effective as well as safe for daily use. My real secret would lie in my extensive and specific lineup of topical products, tools, and electronic devices which the details i keep to myself and a few close friends. Some items are for daily use, some for weekly, and others simply are brought out when a blemish or imperfection pops up. What i love about Tria's Blue Light is how easy it is to incorporate into any skincare regimen and it works safely and effectively on all skin types. Especially during (and following) the teen years, sufficient skin maintenance no longer just consists of a warm rag and some soap, if that is all you need to achieve perfect skin I'm jealous. Electronic devices are becoming the new industry standard for anyone who is cosmetically proactive. Aside from topical products (cleansers, serums, moisturizers, eye cream, etc..) I use 2 other electronic skincare devices for clear skin as well as anti-aging. The Tria fits beautifully into my regulated regimen and has kept my skin 99% blemish free since i purchased it over a year ago. The only time i experience any issue is if i slack off on my routine. People, this is like brushing your teeth, if you do it every day you'll be fine but don't expect to be cavity free if you brush once a week or when you feel like you need it. The same concept applies to caring for your skin. The pressure on high school and college students to achieve and maintain physical perfection is tough to keep up with but 5 minutes daily to keep acne out of the equation is an indisputably simple choice in my opinion. This product has been so successful for me that I actually have friends who use it when they stop by my house. I'm not kidding, these kids literally know my garage code and come in and just help themselves to any and every item in my substantial skincare lineup. I guess i should take it as a compliment when my girlfriend in cosmetology school comes to ME for skincare advice. Way to go Tria! You have won me (and countless friends of mine) over!

Using the Age Defying Laser and the Acne Blue Light at the same time is OK as long as skin irritation, redness or swelling associated with those treatments has subsided.

You should begin to see a visible difference in your skin in just two weeks, and the results should progressively improve as you continue to use the Acne Clearing Blue Light. For best results, consistent daily use is recommended to maintain beautifully clear, healthy and radiant skin.
