Comments about Ultra CHI Dipped In Yellow Flat Iron:

I bought the pink (instead of the yellow shown here). It is not worth the price at all. There is only one heat setting ("on"), which is really hot, even for my thick hair. I would not recommend this product for those with fine, treated, or damaged hair. I will be returning mine, as I've owned cheaper ones that are much better in performance.

Comments about Ultra CHI Dipped In Yellow Flat Iron:

I owned the original ceramic Chi for at least 5 years before it finally died. It worked perfect. I took a chance on this inexpensive mass produced colorful iron. There is nothing good to say about it. It was slow to heat up, required multiple passes even with a thermal straightening spray, and it stopped working after the 2nd week! Returned it to the store and am considering a GHD as recommended by my stylist. It's important to note that even the cashier at Ulta commented that a lot of the "colorful" Chi irons have been returned. Not worth the money.

Comments about Ultra CHI Dipped In Yellow Flat Iron:

I won a Chi Flat Iron about 6 years ago, and I used it constantly and never had a problem. The last few months I noticed it not working as well as it used to. I figure a 6+ year shelf life is great. I decided to buy another model of Chi as the one I had is no longer made, and I bought this one because it is SUPER cute. Well it arrived 3 days ago, and the first day I used it, worked great. I used it yesterday, still great. Today I went to use it, and it would not turn on. I tried resetting it, changing outlets, giving it some time, etc. Nothing makes it turn on. It literally broke after 2 days/uses while laying turned off and unplugged on my vanity. I am still eligible to return it to Ulta, and would like to do an exchange because this one is probably the prettiest I've ever seen, but I'm leary. So many reviewers on this brand seem to say theirs have stopped working quickly too.

When it works, it works great. However, they are so cheaply made and break really fast. I love the chi so I keep buying them , but wish they lasted longer than a month. Recent one was two weeks.
