Comments about DevaCurl DevaFuser:

I use the DevaFuser after every shower, especially before going into work or going out, any time when I can't have my hair soaking wet for the next few hours. It dries everything evenly and leaves my curls bouncy yet frizz free. The only thing I didn't care for was the price considering it didn't for my old dryer and the DevaFuser complete with the dryer was over $100 but I duck tape thankfully can fix anything! Best diffuser I have ever used, would definitely recommend for all types or curly hair.

This product did not enhance my curl at all. It took a long time for my hair to dry and I had less curl than when I use a regular diffuser. I returned this item.

          Comments about DevaCurl DevaFuser:

It took me a few times to get used to how this diffuser works, but after a few tries I got the hang of it and it is now my favorite diffuser. Other traditional diffusers give me awful 80's hair. I use the Devafuser 3-4 times a week, mostly on work days. I don't have a lot of time in the mornings, wake up early for work (have to be there by 6:45am) and don't like to waste time on my beauty routine but I like to look good. Using this diffuser takes about the same amount of time as a blow-out. Since I start with my hair soaking wet for my hair products and to set my curls so they don't frizz, using a diffuser is really necessary on work days. I don't like to go into work with my curl cast still drying.

My hair length is just above the shoulders with layers, fine texture, and I have both tight/loose curls. It will frizz if you look at it wrong, although the Deva products have helped tremendously (and since I gave up silicone products). The "fingers" can weave INTO the curls, which is a great concept. It also weaves under the curls at the base of the hair easily. Other traditional diffusers don't get near the scalp like this one does, and that is what gives your hair great body. It disturbs my curl cast a little, but doesn't produce frizz if used correctly.

It was difficult to get on my hairdryer at first, I had to really twist and push it on. Now it goes on snug, but easily. I have a Rusk Deep Shine hairdryer. For storage I take it off because it is admittedly bulky. It comes with a picture of proper placement on your hairdryer on the box when you get it....copy how far they put the diffuser on the hairdryer.

I like how I can cradle and push the front of my hair a certain way so that my curls look like they are curling away from my face. They naturally curl forward onto my face. My bangs are kind of short right now, about mouth-length when wet, and they need help to be how I want them to look (they want to act differently than I want them to be). This diffuser helps me control their unruly tendencies.

I bought this in Florida where I have a vacation home and was happy with it. When I got back to Canada, I was disappointed to discover it doesn't fit even one of the 3 hairdryers I have at home.

Definitely not same quality as original product launched in 2010. Plastic will warp with high heat settings and even low heat settings.

This gives me fantastic root volume, keeps my curls bouncy and loose, and dries my hair faster than any other dryer I have used - especially a dryer with a diffuser attachment! Yes, you have to be careful to not melt the plastic, but its so worth the time to be conscious.

                  Comments about DevaCurl DevaFuser:

I have some natural curl. With plain air dry, the curls are nice but I have no body at the root. With a regular diffuser, the ends of the curls get dry while the root is still very wet and doesn't get enough lift. This product lets me cradle the curls with its hand shape AND get the air close to my scalp giving me much more lift at the root. It's great if you are looking for more body without the frizz. It usually slips off ONCE when I use it. Not great, but not inconvenient enough that I would stop using it. I havn't had ANY melting issues because I only use the low or no heat setting on my hair dryer. The higher heat might dry it faster, but it's not worth the damage. I usually towel dry my hair, put in some curl cream and dry with the diffuser for about ten minutes, keeping it in one spot for about a minute before I reposition it. The hair will not be completely dry, but dry enough that I can go to work without looking like I just stepped out of the shower. The biggest difference with this diffuser compared to the cup/bowl style diffusers is that ability to get body at the root. I love it.

                      From DevaCurl:

"We recommend using DevaFuser on the Deva Dryer for optimal results. Or the following:
                      • HOT Tools Ionic Anti-Static Dryer
                      • HOT Tools Tempest
                      • Conair Infiniti
                      • CHI Pro Dryer
                      • T3 Veloce

Melting would only occur if the setting is too high on the dryer. If you are not using any of the suggested dryers, we suggest using a medium heat setting. Wear and tear does not occur from our products since they are water soluble. However, from time to time we do recommend rinsing the DevaFuser under lukewarm water to keep it clean."
