Comments about Lorac POREfection Foundation:

Lorac Porefection Foundation, for the price, this product does not disappoint. For a high end foundation, I believe that it is not the best if you are looking for a full coverage foundation but for people who have a decent skin texture, meaning no dry patches or an excessive amount of oil it would be satisfactory. I have grown to be quite fond of it because it was so pricey that I don't want to waste it but I'd prefer a better less greasy feeling foundation.
Advantages:
Lorac Porefection Foundation does not irritate my sensitive skin however, I realize that everyone's skin is different. This foundation is easy to blend into the skin, it is best when used with a sponge or your fingers. The reason for this is because the warmth of your hands help melt it into the skin. It provides a smooth application if applied correctly. This product provides a matte finish to the face without being too heavy. Feels very light on the skin without being too sheer of a product.
Disadvantages:
This foundation can become streaky if used with a foundation brush, it may be due to the greasy texture that occurs when first applied. The price is still a bit high but it is less expensive than other brands. The product does not have the best coverage because of how streaking it can become and how bad it sinks into my pores. This product is not buildable, it begins to look very cakey on the skin when set with a powder.

Comments about Lorac POREfection Foundation:

Need a foundation that stays put, yet doesn't look thick or cakey. This one does a great job. I apply with my fingertips, due to the consistency causes brush application to look too thick for me. Requires blending in trouble spots, but that's an easy trade-off for the staying power for me. It's called 'Porefection' for a reason.

Comments about Lorac POREfection Foundation:

This product is a little shiny once it is on but if you use a finishing powder it looks better. About half way through the day I have to reapply because it starts breaking apart, this may be my very dry skin though. If I put lotion on before applying it lasts longer through the day.

This foundation feels nourishing on the skin. It is lightweight yet covers well. I would say this is full coverage foundation and your skin feels soft and supple after you wash it off. Like you were wearing a moisturizer instead of foundation! Love it!

This should be a drugstore foundation

      Comments about Lorac POREfection Foundation:

I'm a big fan of the pro palette and the Lorac eye primers, even the fiberized mascara so don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to just hate on a brand here. But this foundation is so horrible, it's pure liquid, it's funny, it creases and settles into dry spots and fine lines, no coverage, lasts on your face for about four hours and literally ZERO time before it oxidizes on my nose, just horrible.

I had been using another brand for a while, decent coverage but over time seemed to dry my skin out. After reading reviews and watching videos on you tube I thought I would try Lorac. It is amazing for my skin and after the short worry of breaking out( and it did not break me out!) I am now a new customer of Lorac. Worth the money

        Okay Foundation

        By Ciera

        from Atlanta

        Comments about Lorac POREfection Foundation:

I don't hate this foundation, but it is definitely not for me. It gives a nice medium coverage, but it doesn't seem to cover my acne scars very well, and it clings on to dry patches like none other. While it does give a nice finish, it wears off within about 4 hours and I feel like I'm not wearing anything

            Comments about Lorac POREfection Foundation:

I have a medium complexion with combination skin. My T-zone is extremely oily and and my dry areas are very dry. This foundation is a medium to Full Coverage product and it was a little to heavy for my personal preference. I found that it caked up around my mouth and around my nose and settled in my creases around my eyes. I really had high hopes for this brand but it just didn't work out for me. I had to return it.

                A:

POREfection® Foundation in PR1 (FAIR) does have yellow undertones and is for fair skin tones, so it sounds like it would match your complexion well. We recommend visiting your local Ulta to meet with a beauty consultant who can help match the perfect shade for your skin complexion.

You can try using the online Complexion POREfection® shade guide to help match which shade you think matches your complexion the best. However, we recommend visiting your local ULTA Beauty location to have a pro artist help match the perfect shade for your skin complexion.

                A:

We recommend trying POREfection® Foundation in PR2 (LIGHT) or PR3 (LIGHT BEIGE). Both shades are very similar and for a fair complexion. PR2 (LIGHT) tends to have slightly more of a yellow undertone than PR3 (LIGHT BEIGE), but that could help balance the redness and neutralize your skin. PR3 (LIGHT BEIGE) has more pink/red undertones. We recommend visiting your local Ulta to meet with a beauty consultant who can help match the perfect shade for your skin complexion.
