    Comments about Tarte Cheek Stain:

I'm pale...I wouldn't even describe my complexion as fair, I really am that pale! So I depend on a blush to bring my face to life. I've been using the "old school" method of blush--blush brush and a mineral based, powder formula. While I always apply a moisturizing SPF before my beauty routine, I do not wear liquid or powder foundation. Regardless, I have found that, despite the formula I use, my powder blush lacked staying power and would wear off before the end of the day...leaving me pale and tired-looking. I've been looking into cheek stain for a while. After carefully considering a multitude of different brands and paraben-free formulas, I finally decided to give this one a try. I cannot begin to express my immense satisfaction with this product. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but I can assure you, it is worth every single penny. Not only does it actually last, but it doesn't clog my pores like the powder blush had a tendancy to do (I'm prone to cystic acne in the areas that I apply the powder blush). Application is quick, easy, and completely fool-proof. Since using this product (about 2 weeks), I haven't had a single acne flare up. My co-workers have also remarked that I look well-rested and have a healthy glow. As a reference, I'm a brunette with green eyes and pale, pale skin and I ordered the "true love" shade. AMAZING product!!!

This blush is perfect. I have a fair complexion and I love the color, it looks natural and is very flattering. It goes on very smoothly and unlike some other Tarte blush colors, the texture, color and smell are great.

I love this. I had been eyeing it for a year now and finally bought it and it's well worth the money. I got the "flushed" color and in person just looking at it, I thought the color was too purple-ish for me, but when i put a dab of it on, it looked perfect on my skin! It's consistency is great and moisterizing and didn't fade much throughout the day. I like how it gave me a natural color. Great buy, will buy again when I run out. I suggest trying all the colors out on your face in the store to see which one is right for you. The one I thought I would like turned out to look the worst on me, but after trying them out, I picked the perfect one for my skin.

Ive been on the search for the perfect blush that wasn't too pink/red. This was the first time I've used a cream cheek stain and its better than a powder. I have really oily skin and this stays on for a very long time. This blush came in a set and im so glad I bought it.

Its the perfect pink/nude color that gives just enough flush on your cheeks to look natural. Although a little pricey, they give just enough to last you a long time. A little goes a long way.

This works best with a stippling brush, not fingers. I love the packaging. I love the color blushing bride. A little goes a VERY LONG WAY. Too much of this can appear clownlike. But with a tiny amount this has such a natural pretty effect. It is my favorite cream blush. it is easy to remove as well, doesn't really "stain" me at all. I like this product.

                  Comments about Tarte Cheek Stain:

WHY I BOUGHT: My skin was looking dry this winter and my typical powder blush was not lasting at all. I had heard about these blushes and really like the other gluten free Tarte products I own so decided to give this a try. MY COLORING: I have fair skin with cool/pink undertones that I neutralize with yellow-based Bobbi Brown foundation and dark blue eyes. I typically wear subtle eye makeup with grey-tones or forest greens. My hair is dark brown with natural reddish highlights. RESEARCH: Not currently being able to make it to a store I did a TON of online research to try to figure out which shade(s) would suit me best. Looking at swatches did not help at all as they differ from image to image and are mostly shown on golden skin tones. After watching some video reviews online I purchased 2 shades: 1) True Love and 2) Blissful. STAIN COLORS: The True Love is absolutely stunning on me. It looks like I have naturally flushed skin from blushing or taking a quick run. It really makes my eyes pop and I can wear it with any shade of gloss or lipstick. It literally looks like I'm glowing and doesn't looks heavy or cakey at all like my powder blushes were looking on drier skin. On a white piece of paper it looks very similar to my Bobbie Brown "pale pink" which I can't wear with any staying power this winter because it's powder-based. However Tarte's looks more natural on me, and is buildable in intensity. It last for hours. The Blissful was what I was most excited for. Warm peaches typically look so pretty with my complexion. This looked pretty dreadful on me. It was like putting rosacea on my face. Looked like putting back all the pink undertones that go away with my foundation. On white paper it looks like a pale pink with sparkles. I have no idea why it is described as a warm peach. Perhaps because it's not very pigmented. But there's nothing peachy about it. Maybe on someone with more gold in their skin it would look peach but it was so bad on me I returned it. SCENT: I don't actually get why people like the scent. They're not off-putting but smell like lemon to me. Not vanilla or anything. Goes away very quickly. BLENDING & STAYING POWER: I put this on over foundation and/or Tarte amazonian clay. There's not alot of time to blend it versus wearing it on bare skin, but it's not a big deal because you can start sheer and add pigment after blending if needed. It doesn't remain tacky to the touch on my face for more than a minute. Lasts on me for a minimum of 5-6 hours. SUMMARY: Would absolutely buy more shades once I can get to the store to do color tests!

Use fingers, sponge, or direct application: Smile and dab cheek stain on the apples of your cheeks, blending as you go from your cheekbones up to your temple. It features a super blendable, buildable formula!

I Have Been Using The Tarte Cheek Stains For Years And Most Recently , The Color "Awakening" Which Is Now Apparently Name Changed To "Exposed" (Better Name For The Color As It Is Very Natural, Good Call On The Change) Anyhow...I Am Curious As To The New Size. My Current Short, Chunky Tube (The Old Style) Says That It Is 0.5Oz On The Container. I See Here In The Product Description That The Size Is Still Listed As .5Oz So I Am Confused As To Why People Are Saying The New Packaging Has Reduced The Size. Can You Please Clarify The Amount Of Product In The New Style Of Packaging? And, As A Quick Sidenote, This Product Lasts So Long For Me That A Thinner, More Purse Friendly Shaped Packaging Is Fine With Me, Even If It Does Hold Less Product. I Have Had My Current Container Of "Awakening/Exposed" For 18 Months Now And I Am Not Exaggerating WhenIaSay That It Still Appears New Even After Nearly Daily Use!

Hello...I could really use your help choosing a color. I have medium toned skin, with an olive undertone and hazel eyes with warm blonde hair. I usually wear pinky/brown/earthy/warm blushes and lip colors most of the year, but have worn peach tones in the summer. I'm leaning toward Blissful or Tipsy, but wanted to get another opinion.
