        Comments about Tarte Cheek Stain:

This blusher is the best! I had originally tried it at the store, but had already purchased enough so I did not get it. I recently went back and purchased it. It provides a very natural blush tone and also has a little gloss in it to make it look very natural. It stays on all day and it is the first blusher I have owned that I am not constantly having to reapply. I HIGHLY recommend this product. I am a makeup junkie, but I threw out all my other powder blushers after trying this one.

            Gorgeous Blush, but Very Sticky

            By Holly

            from Chicago

            Comments about Tarte Cheek Stain:

I got the Tarte Cheek Stain in Flush- as a very dark brunette with fair skin, the color is absolutely gorgeous! Used lightly it can be an everyday color, and for evening wear you can just make the color a little bit deeper. The pros: This is very easy to apply and blend, easy to build the color, looks gorgeous without being too much (think your flush but better) and it smells really, really good. I find that odd but I've never had a scented blush before- it's not exactly a useful feature but I think of it as aromatherapy while I apply my makeup! The cons: This blush is very sticky. If you've ever dropped a sugared drink before and stepped in it after it began to dry, that's the type of stickiness I'm talking about. Because the consistency is so sticky, it will drag off any foundation you've applied (to be fair, I've not yet tried it under foundation because I don't want to dull the color and end up wasting more product). I use a sheer loose mineral powder to set my makeup and the color does shine through beautifully if I don't use too much- the downside being if I use too little powder, my hair will blow in the wind and stick to my cheeks! Us ladies already have enough to worry about with our hair getting stuck in our lip gloss, so we don't need to worry about that with our blush, too. For the price point and the size and pigment, it is pretty fair- but at this price point, I wonder if Tarte could keep their gorgeous colors while turning the consistency into a smoother gel formulation without the stickiness. I'd be more inclined to purchase this again if they did. I'm happy enough with the product to use it up in time, but once it's gone I'll likely go back to a cream blusher or a liquid cheek stain to avoid the stickiness if Tarte doesn't change the formula by then.

Think my title says it all. I had no idea as a golden brown mixed girl that this would be such a perfect color for both my cheeks and lips. Looks like my natura coloring was back in my college days. So yeah makes me feel young-who doesnt want that?! Bonus: doesn't cause breakouts on my breakout prone skin and makes me look luminous NOT greasy!

                  Comments about Tarte Cheek Stain:

I bought this because I wanted an easy portable cheek color. I didn't expect it to be like a glue stick. That's essentially what it is. It makes my cheeks sticky and my hair sticks to it. It's easy to apply though but since the color is concentrated on where you dab you'd have to blend it in; which is no problem but it's kind of hard to blend. The color is sticky and it virtually wipes off if you try to blend it. I really like the idea of this product but I'd rather have it stay on my skin

We suggest trying the best selling shade, Flush. Flush is Tarte’s original sheer berry shade that will give you the long lasting glow you are looking for, without the extra shimmer. Dab onto the apples of your cheeks directly from the container and blend the edges for that fresh, “just pinched” look!

I Have Been Using The Tarte Cheek Stains For Years And Most Recently , The Color "Awakening" Which Is Now Apparently Name Changed To "Exposed" (Better Name For The Color As It Is Very Natural, Good Call On The Change) Anyhow...I Am Curious As To The New Size. My Current Short, Chunky Tube (The Old Style) Says That It Is 0.5Oz On The Container. I See Here In The Product Description That The Size Is Still Listed As .5Oz So I Am Confused As To Why People Are Saying The New Packaging Has Reduced The Size. Can You Please Clarify The Amount Of Product In The New Style Of Packaging? And, As A Quick Sidenote, This Product Lasts So Long For Me That A Thinner, More Purse Friendly Shaped Packaging Is Fine With Me, Even If It Does Hold Less Product. I Have Had My Current Container Of "Awakening/Exposed" For 18 Months Now And I Am Not Exaggerating WhenIaSay That It Still Appears New Even After Nearly Daily Use!

I usually wear pinky/brown/earthy/warm blushes and lip colors most of the year, but have worn peach tones in the summer. I'm leaning toward Blissful or Tipsy, but wanted to get another opinion.
