Comments about Hot Tools NexGen Curling Iron:

I have always been a big fan of Hot Tools so when I came across their higher end line called NexGen,I simply couldn't resist! It did not disappoint! It gives my frizzy/coarse hair great results in a short amount of time because of the extended barrel...I absolutely love this product and would recommend to anyone who is looking for professional results at home:)

Comments about Hot Tools NexGen Curling Iron:

I NEEDED TO REPLACE MY OTHER HOT TOOL CURLING IRON AND DECIDED TO UPGRADE INTO THIS MODEL. I LIKE THE LONG BARREL AND IT SEEMS TO WORK GREAT. JUST STARTED USING IT AND VERY PLEASED. MY HAIR IS CURLY AND FRIZZY BUT THE IRON LEAVES IT SMOOTH AND SHINY. I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN...

This curling iron is not meant for fine, thin hair. The heat settings were to broad and the clamp let my hair slip out.

Comments about Hot Tools NexGen Curling Iron:

I love how the long barrel can easily allow me to curl my hair fast and efficiently. I could curl my hair in one round, therefore I feel it's a little less damaging. I would recommend this if you have long, thick hair to the waist like me. The barrel clip, however does get hot. It comes with an oil, that is great and makes your hair soft and shiny.

I bought this on sale, on top of a 20 percent off coupon, so the price wasn't too bad.

Just love the extra length. Makes curling long hair easier & quicker. Shamelessly expensive but that extra length is a feature I haven't seen on personal curling irons.

Comments about Hot Tools NexGen Curling Iron:

I have found the regular hot tools curling iron to make nicer curls and hold them longer. This iron doesnt always clamp onto thin hair making it difficult to keep hair on the iron. The thumb lever that lifts the clamp gets very hot if you have a lot of hair to curl and the iron is on for awhile. The curls do not finger curl well after they have cooled. I do have to say the curls come out shiny and my hair does not feel damaged after using it. I am not convinced the extra cost is worth it.

I HIGHLY recommend this product. It is very gentle, even on the high setting and leaves hair looking smooth and soft and shiny. The extra 2" is perfect for longer hair. My curls/waves last the entire day, no frizzies!
