Comments about Real Techniques Silicone Eye Liner Brush:

I absolutely LOVE this liner brush. I want to get a couple more just to have back-ups! I use it with the Maybelline eyestudio gel liner.

Comments about Real Techniques Silicone Eye Liner Brush:

The idea behind this brush is great but unfortunately it didn't apply my cream eyeliner the way I wanted. It required me to use a lot of product and it left the color dull almost like I didn't even apply any eye liner.

Comments about Real Techniques Silicone Eye Liner Brush:

I love eyeliner and cream is my favorite kind, up until this point I only used one liner brush from a drug store brand and it was my favorite because the bristles were stiff enough to give a precise line but not damage my skin. Then I found this brush and fell in love. It is easy to clean and easy to use. With that being said, it does take a couple of uses to get used to but it gives a smooth, thin line with any brand of cream liner I have used it with.

Comments about Real Techniques Silicone Eye Liner Brush:

Maybe it is just me but I don't really like this brush. I've never used a silicone brush before so perhaps I am just not used to it but I would have much preferred a fiber brush. All in all it does get the job done, I just feel like I have to be extra careful with my wingtip.

I love real techniques brushes! I have many! However this "brush" is not even a brush. I did think the idea of this silicon applicator was genius ! It was so hard to work with and it could not pick up even the creamiest eyeliner!

Be careful cleaning. Dip in water and wipe gently with kleenex. If rough, tip will break off.

Comments about Real Techniques Silicone Eye Liner Brush:

The silicone tip is very interesting because it's easy to clean and reuse. My only complaint is that because it's one tip, rather than bristles, it tends to be too previse and can make hard lines. This can be corrected by smudging through.

Comments about Real Techniques Silicone Eye Liner Brush:

I have several Real Techniques brushes that I LOVE; this sadly is not one. I thought is was a "brush" as in the name, but with ~hairs~ made of thin silicone strands (rather than animal hair or nylon). Nope, think more like something you'd use as a touch stilus for your smartphone.
It does not pick up product from your well/pot for application. What little product you can get on it does not apply smoothly. Sadly, just awful.

                        A:

We recommend cleaning your makeup brushes once weekly using a brush shampoo or mild hair shampoo. Simply lather and rinse with cool water until the water runs clear. You can also spritz your brushes in between uses with brush cleaner spray to keep them clean in between shampoos (recommended for acne-prone skin).
