Comments about Philosophy Miracle Worker Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 30:

This foundation has taken years off my face. It just looks so perfect for my mature skin, which tends to be blotchy. I really can't say anything negative about it. I have used many, many name brand foundations and this is my favorite.

I'm 62 years old and always in search of a more youthful look. This makeup preforms better than most in that area. It doesn't settle in my wrinkles or pores. A little goes a long way. Key as with all foundations is matching your skin exactly. Wish it would stay on until midnight but I have never found one that would without touchups which I don't do.

An Ulta consultant recommended this product and helped me find the right shade. I want a product with a good SPF and to blend sun spots without feeling heavy. This foundation feels very soft and comfortable, and the color match is perfect. It doesn't completely hide my spots but gives a smoother appearance. However, it seems to melt off my combination skin a little too quickly, even with powder. I might recommend it to someone with drier skin, or perhaps in the winter.

I needed assistance at the store "ulta" matching a perfect shade for me. There was no one available. When I did track someone down, the color that was recommended to me, shade 4, was not available to sample, or purchase. Even online. So I tried the shade 3 and of course it didn't match. I brought it back to the store and tried a different makeup completely. If it's that hard to try this product, I'll just go with a different brand. :(

                  • Q:

I currently use Philosphy Hope in a Jar foundation. I find the coverage too sheer no mater how much I " build" it up. I am 66 yrs. old and after reading about Miracle foundation, it sounds more suited to mature skin and provide better coverage .Do you agree,? Also, in Hope foundation I use shade 7. Would I use the same shade for Miracle foundation?
                    Thank you.

I am trying to determine the major difference between Shades 4 and 5. ( realize that Shade 5 is probably darker) However, is one shade more yellow or cool tone (pink) based? Is one shade more neutral? On my screen, the shades appear quite close in color. I would appreciate any feedback! Thanks....

miracle worker foundation shade 4 is cooler, while shade is a warmer shade. shade 5 is the darker of the two. if you have an ulta in your area, we recommend visiting the store to be shade matched.
