My new favorite

By Saspants

Comments about Philosophy Miracle Worker Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 30:

Absolutely love this product, it is everything I could have hoped for in an anti-aging foundation. The product is like an anti-aging serum with pigment. The coverage can be as sheer or as heavy as you desire, it all depends on how it is applied. For sheer coverage I use my beauty blender, for medium coverage I use a foundation brush and buff it into my skin and for full coverage I apply with clean fingers and blot to set with a dry sponge or stipple with a brush to push into my skin.

I love the fact that even applying for full coverage, the product never looks cakey or streaked. I have been using this since it debuted around the beginning of 2014 and love it just as much today as the first time I used it. I will be repurchasing and highly recommend.

Comments about Philosophy Miracle Worker Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 30:

I am not a liquid foundation kind of girl but I received a sample of this with a recent Philosophy purchase (powder foundation that I'm obsessed with). For a liquid foundation, this is light and really evens out my skin. As I've aged I've developed rosecea and this really masks the redness. If it truly is beneficial to my skin, I guess time will tell. In the meantime, it's great as simply foundation.

Comments about Philosophy Miracle Worker Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 30:

This product is definitely for people who have dryer skin. In about a year, I went from being oilier than a McDonald's french fry to incredibly, almost painfully dry. I figured I'd get dryer in my 20's, but not like this. A lot of the foundations I'd normally use began to look very unnatural after half a day (think South-Western style stucco).

This product is fantastic! It goes on well by itself or over a moisturizer/sunblock. You don't need much. One pump should cover most of your face and give you medium-to-full coverage. I use mineral powder to set the foundation and I'm pretty much good to go for the day.

I also love, LOVE the color range. I'm very fair and most foundations make me look like a victim of an unfortunate tanning parlor accident. Shade #3 actually matches my fair skin. It looks a little dark when you first pump it onto your hand, but because it spreads so well, the finished look is very natural and well-matched to the skin tone.

Comments about Philosophy Miracle Worker Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 30:

Sadly, I was not impressed at all with this foundation. I feel like I didn't get what I was really looking for, and I admit I should have done a little research beforehand. Felt greasy on my face even though I do not have oily skin and it doesn't provide the full coverage I like. You'd think the lady who tested it on me at Ulta would know what she was talking about, but I pretty much ended up with an expensive foundation that I can't use. And even here on the website it says medium coverage. I suppose it would work for some skin types, and possibly could help with wrinkles as it says, but I'm 25...none of that goin on yet.

Moral of the story: research foundations before throwing your money away. Not necessarily a bad foundation, but not what I expected and definitely not meant for my skin personally

I tried this because my regular foundation was out of stock. I should have waited because I found myself having to use twice as much of this product per application. Found it to be more of a BB cream. Not a bad product per se, but not a great value either.

This foundation is perfect for my 58 yr old face. Dewy, but not shiny. Medium coverage. Natural looking. Plus, it lasts all day & doesn't transfer.
No.7 is a perfect match; and normally I have to mix two shades (in other foundations).

I am very disappointed in both Philosophy foundations. Although Miracle Worker foundation matched my skin tone very well, it felt as if I had a layer of film on. It was just nasty feeling. I returned after two uses for Hope in a Jar foundation, which like Miracle Worker was a good color match but...

I am 53 and needed new foundation. Tried Laura mercier TM,japonesque, dr jardt and Dermablend and all went patchy and did keep my red, rosacea calm and hydrated. Miracle Worker foundation #5 matches perfectly and keeps my red skin covered and calm, flawlessly and lasts 8 hours without touch up. At last my HG foundation

Those with younger skin can benefit from using this product, too, as its antioxidant-rich formula also works to counteract premature aging.

This product features medium-to-full natural looking coverage and is formulated for all skin types, though if you prefer a lighter weight oil-free formula, we would suggest Hope in a Jar Foundation:

                    Hi,

I currently wear SmashBox 3.2 OR MAC MatchMaster 5 - I hurriedly tried on Shade 9 (I honestly do not recall whether it was the Hope in a Jar, etc. It matched my skin fairly well I thought, but I didn't leave it on all day (I went home and washed my face). W/that, would the Shade 9 be your recommendation? Additionally, please be advised that I am very oily and would definitely set it w/either a loose or pressed powder and I always use a primer.

                    Thanks!
