Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

I'm very, very, pale. So pale that the lightest color in covergirl foundation is too dark on me. So when this appeared, I decided 'why not try it'. I ordered the lightest shade and when it arrived, I tried it immediately. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the foundation is exactly my skintone, if not whiter. It actually made me look a little pastey, so blush and bronzer is a must when I wear this foundation. My skin gets a warmer hue when summer arrives, so I'll have this mix this with a darker foundation in the future, which isn't too much of a hassle. I use it mostly for the spf and moisturizing effect, since the winter winds make my cheeks and nose so dry that it hurts. So far its kept me nice and moisturized. I kind of wish it had a little more dewiness to it, so it'll look less like I have foundation on.

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

I have been using Clinique and Bare Essentials foundations for a few years. While i like the coverage of BE, I have found it settles into lines, esepcially under eyes, which at my age, are increasing. This foundation was recently on sale, and i decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. Not only does it cover medium/ full, which I prefer, but it blends well with either brush or sponge, and the colour (medium) is a great match. However, the real benefit of this foundation comes after you remove it. The first day, after about 6 hours of wearing, i used a makeup remover wipe, and immediatley felt a difference in my skin. It was soft, smooth, silky, like i had just used a mask and moisterizer. I have neem using it for about a week, and have felt a noticeable improvement in skin texture and moisture. I think I will be putting my other foundations away for awhile.

Beautiful foundation -- worth the price

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

I sometimes get very bad dry patches of skin on my face, particularly on my forehead. I have trouble finding foundations that don't accentuate my dry patches. However, this foundation is amazingly hydrating and glides over my dryness. The minty smell is amazing too!

This foundation is AMAZING. i am very hesitant when buying foundations because I have acne prone dry skin and whenever i try foundations i break out or my skin becomes even more dry. This foundation does not cause my skin to breakout and actually hydrates and prevents my skin from breaking out. I bought this product during ULTA's skin event promotion and fell in love with this foundation. best foundation i have ever used.I bought shade 6 and it blends perfectly. Apply with a brush for better application and a little goes a long way with this foundation!! BUY BUY BUY for flawless skin... BEYOND WORTH IT. (I've tried so many foundations and nothing compares) 5 Stars for philosophy!!!!

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

I cannot say enough great things about this foundation. For me, it is bordering on *perfect* and I don't say that about many foundations. I have very dry, cool toned, fair skin. I like foundations with a medium, buildable coverage with a satin or dewy finish. This foundation fit the bill. It helps me achieve a dewy finish, even in the coldest months of the year that usually leave my skin dry and dull. It's color is excellent for me because, unlike other foundations, it's not extremely yellow/warm. (I wear shade 3, the lightest shade.) I don't hear people talk about this foundation much, which is a pity because it's amazing for those of us with dry or mature skin! It is pricey, and I don't normally wear high end foundation because of that reason, but yet I find myself going back for it again and again! Nothing compares.

I am old--68. I was looking and looking and found it. A product for older dry, wrinkled skin. This is it and its sister product that is a tad heavier. Older skin does not do powder well. Most liquid make ups go into the larger pores and wrinkles but not these. I am excited, finally, about a makeup. Use the heavier product for night coverage or formal daytime. Try this if you are older. I am loving it!

Although this is a rather costly foundation, it is one of the better ones. I really think this product goes on smooth, wish it was fuller coverage, but after 2 coats it is perfect. I have light skin and suffer from acne currently. This foundation has not irritated my skin and if anything it has improved my skin.

You can achieve medium coverage with either product. To address the signs of aging, we suggest using Miracle Worker Foundation, which features an anti-aging formula to help improve radiance and tone, even after you take it off, and to visibly take up to 5 years off your complexion!

I currently use clinique's even better foundation in creamwhip #14. Which color in this product would replace my clinique formula? I have issues with foundation settling into the lines around my eyes making them more pronounced. Will this product do that? If so, would there be a better option for me from the philosophy line?
