Great for everyday. It doesn't feel heavy but you can get good coverage with it. I think it feels better than the Miracle Worker foundation which is what I was using previously.

I read the reviews for this before buying and saw a lot of people said it worked well with their dry skin, so I decided to give it a try. I was using the Smashbox BB Cream, which is a good product, but I needed a little bit more coverage for winter, and I will say the coverage is good - about what I expected. It's more than a BB cream, but not full coverage by any means. My issue is that it does NOT work well with my dry skin. I'll examine my face for dry patches before I put it on, see none, and then as soon as I put it on, I have a little dry-skin desert on my forehead, made worse by the presence of the foundation. I'll probably keep it, but I won't repurchase.

      Holy Grail Product

      By Kinsey

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

This is by far my favorite foundation I have ever tried. It gives a beautiful glow to the skin, I always get complements when I wear it. I have recommended it to EVERYONE! I do say because it gives a glow it doesn't last all day, but a quick fix with a setting powder and it won't move or crease on you. I have tried so many other luminous foundations and I always come back to this one.

This makeup was very easy to apply. It's very thin but gives a light to medium coverage. The only thing I did not like was that by the end of the day my makeup looked blotchy and dry. Unfortunately I had to return it.

If I could be a brand rep for this company I would do it in a heartbeat! I love all of the products, they all smell so delish, and are great on my skin. Hope in a jar foundation is the product I have been waiting for...it goes on smooth, has great coverage and leaves my skin feeling so soft. It is also lightweight. I highly recommend!

This foundation is amazing! It covers my rosacea, but is still lightweight. I love the way it moisturizes my skin and evens out my skin tone. This is another jewel in the crown of Philosophy products!

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 20:

I'm in love with this foundation! I've been focused on skin the last month or so (as a result of some uncontrollable breakouts) and have been trying a bunch of different foundations in an attempt to get a low maintenance base for my under 10 minute makeup routine during the week that won't exacerbate my zit situation. The first time I used this was with a flat foundation brush to place the product, then a buffing brush. The second was just with my (clean) fingers. Both applications resulted in a wonderfully blended face that didn't "sit" on/above my skin. I've also see no negative effects on my skin (like developing more pimples throughout the day) when I wear this.

Note: this is definitely a light coverage foundation. I also set this with powder (either the It Cosmetics pressed foundation or the BareMinerals Mineral Veil) however this is because I have combo skin that is slightly oily in the T-zone.

I purchased Shade 5 last summer and had been using it. As I started to go back to my pale color this winter I went and purchased Shade 4. Last summer and fall Shade 5 blended PERFECT and now Shade 4 is PERFECT for me!!!! I LOVE this stuff! It gives me a natural looking glow and is all around great. This is definitely my go-to foundation!!!
