Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked3 Palette:

I love the rose shade colors in this palette. Most of these shades can create a natural daytime look or something for a night out on the town. I would prefer more matte shades than shimmer, but still like the colors. There are a couple shadows that I don't really use and would prefer other shades in their place. The shade 'dust' is a light shimmery pink, that I don't ever use simply because I don't like ultra light shimmery shades. The lightest shade 'strange' is nice for inner corner highlighting, but is a really really light almost white shade... Just a little too light for my brown bone. This palette would be perfect for me if 'dust' was a matte light cream color instead... Something a little more natural looking than the lightest shade. If there was a light cream color included, then I would be able to create looks using just this palette, without having to open a different shadow/palette.
My favorite shades are 'limit' (a nice pinky matte color that I use for transition), 'trick' (a buildable shimmery bronze color), 'nooner' (a darker matte rose-mauve color), and 'factory' (a darker purple-rose color with a slight shimmer). If given the choice, I would trade 'dust', 'mugshot', and 'blackheart' for something else, if I had a choice... Probably for something with more of a cream or champagne color and more matte shades. Don't get me wrong, these are pretty colors, but I just never use them.
The shadows are quite buttery, and most have great color payoff. There a few that are more buildable, which I like so that I have more control over the look. Blending is a breeze. The palette includes a decent dual-ended brush that I like to use from time to time (still need a blending brush to achieve desired look). It definitely beats the sponge applicators that many shadows come with!
All in all, this is a great palette, with beautiful colors. The only thing that I would change are a few of the colors to make it more versatile, but I am still quite happy with the colors and quality of these shadows.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked3 Palette:

I bought this palette because I wanted a more natural look for work, I have a few UD palettes but they are mostly crazy neon colors. I decided on this specific naked palette due to I thought the rose tone would look better on my skin (very fair) and it does look nice, it's the natural look I was going for.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked3 Palette:

I absolutely love this palette! The nudes have a pink undertone, which is lovely and understated. The shadows apply very evenly and silky smooth. And, the brush is plush and full; it is much better quality than is typically in an eyeshadow palette. The shadows last all day, and they are incredibly versatile. Depending on the look that you are after, this may not be for someone with a dark complexion, however.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked3 Palette:

I love this pallette! The colors are delightfully rich, yet can be worn in a more natural way, or with deeper emphasis. It has taken me a bit to get used to using a brush to apply eye shadows, but I have found that if I use a good primer (like UD "original", or "minor sin") and be sure not to apply too much at once by lightly gathering the color and tapping, I have more control. I really like this color combo, and have added NAKED Basics 2 pallette, along with UD primer to my makeup bag. It's a great bonus to have the primer samples included, and they really last much more than a week for each of the four samples! It's a bit pricey, but the quality and colors are worth it. And, so am I!

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked3 Palette:

I was really drawn to the colors of this palette, but I find the color payoff poor. I wet my brush to get better color, but I still find the application and color payoff of my other palettes better. I am keeping the palette, but I don't reach for it as often as my Lorac or Too Faced.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked3 Palette:

Like the other Naked palettes, it a great value and great quality. Shadows are on the dry side and glitter does have a tendency to travel into eyes but that could be just me. Im very fair and the colors do brighten my eye color but the pink undertone has a tendency to make me look a little sick/tired but with a proper concealer, bronzer, foundation it looks great.

Yes, this product is sulfate-free. Because sulfates are foaming/lathering agents, they are typically found in shampoos and cleansers, not eyeshadows. Thank you for your question, and we hope this info helps! :-)

All three palettes are universally flattering, so any would look great on you! The original Naked Palette features bronze-hued neutrals, Naked2 features taupe-hued neutrals, and Naked3 features rose-hued neutrals. Which to choose is a matter of personal preference. Please note that all three palettes can be tested at your nearest ULTA store, if you prefer: http://www.ulta.com/ulta/stores/storelocator.jsp

You can achieve a variety of looks with this palette, including a very natural effect! For makeup beginners, we'd recommend applying shadows dry instead of wet for a sheer wash of color. These shades would be ideal to use for a daytime school-friendly look: Strange (pale neutral pink matte-satin) Burnout (light pinky-peach satin) Limit (light dusty rose matte) Nooner (medium pinky-brown matte) Factory (pinky-brown satin)
