With so many colors to choose from you can get different looks, from casual daytime to dramatic evening.

I've tried so many different palates similar to Urban Decay and I should have just gotten this one from the start. I wasted so much money on others.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked3 Palette:

For one thing, the exterior design is gorgeous, and so are the eye shadow shades. My usual eye look consists of these shades: Limit all over the lid, Nooner in the crease/slightly above the crease (blended out)/below the lash line, Factory on the "Outer V" in the crease and below the lash line, Strange as the highlights (brow bone and inner eye corner), Darkside as an extra color between the lid and inner eye corner, and as an added bonus, I once added Urban Decay's 24 hour's liner in Freak on the water line (as shown in the picture). These shades work very well with any look. I recommend this product to anyone who is still experimenting with makeup and to anyone who is a makeup expert.

All three palettes are universally flattering, so any would look great on you! The original Naked Palette features bronze-hued neutrals, Naked2 features taupe-hued neutrals, and Naked3 features rose-hued neutrals. Which to choose is a matter of personal preference.

Please note that all three palettes can be tested at your nearest ULTA store, if you prefer:

You can achieve a variety of looks with this palette, including a very natural effect! For makeup beginners, we'd recommend applying shadows dry instead of wet for a sheer wash of color. These shades would be ideal to use for a daytime school-friendly look: Strange (pale neutral pink matte-satin) Burnout (light pinky-peach satin) Limit (light dusty rose matte) Nooner (medium pinky-brown matte) Factory (pinky-brown satin)

Does the brush this comes with apply each shade adequately? I am finally starting to splurge on my makeup & not buying drugstore brands with no proper brushes, so this would be great if the brush will get the job done for an everyday casual look. If not, can you recommend brushes for make-up beginners?
