I used the product in the black shade, as one of my monthly or bi-monthly color touch-ups (blonde roots are relentless!).
It more or less did the same job as my regular color product, Revlon's Colorsilk line (which unfortunately isn't carried by ULTA), so I thought I'd give another brand a try. It resulted in about the same coloring - a deep, natural black (and not too blue) - but the L'Oreal product proved to be more odorous, with a much more stifling chemical stench. It was also more difficult to control, and the coloring agent was runny (which might prove fortuitous to those who want the color easier to spread, admittedly). It also offered a slightly irritating, itchy aftereffect on my scalp.
Overall, it did the job, but next time I'll stick with the Revlon Colorsilk, and save the extra $5.00 spent.

Easy to use - mix, apply, wait, wait, wait, wait some more, wait, and rinse out. Not the best for "resistant" grays. And if you don't like the how the color turns out on your hair, just wait a few weeks and try a different shade.

I am having difficulty finding my regular color and this one seemed close. However, I am not 100% happy with it. Others hae commented to me about how they like it and I have had several strangers comment about my beautiful red hair...but I am still not 100% loving it.
