Meh

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

Best part about this, there isn't that horrifying odor that tends to exist with all hair color removal products. Problem is, it didn't remove all of my hair dye. I had a mixture of red and brown in my hair, and it took all of the red out, but the brown was still left behind. I did a second application to attempt to get the rest of the brown out, but to no avail. I have a nice ombre effect going on now because starting at the roots it's back to blonde and gets darker on the way to the bottom. Maybe if I got another entire box, it might work, but I followed it to a T on the directions and wasn't 100% impressed with this brand compared to other ones I've used in the past. I think I'd rather use the stinky kind, because at least I know it works well!

used it to remove blue hair dye, it smelled like garbage but I decided if it worked itd be worth it, I was blonde for a day or so and was happy with the results! no color left but the second day there was a greenish tinge to my hair which continued to grow over the corse of a couple weeks until it was almost turquoise and I still reeked. That was months ago and occasionally I can still smell it when I wash my hair. do not recommend

I used it to remove a Demi color that was too dark and covered my highlights . I put it on sections of hair to remove some of the color that darkened my highlights and it worked great . I didn't have to recolor as it took my color back to where it was prior to applying the Demi coloring.

I have always enjoyed changing up my look and dying my hair or doing my make up differently. But I have made a few huge mis-steps and been in tears over my hair. This wonderful little miracle worker fixed it!

I died my hair a dark purple & didn't want my hair dark anymore. Trying to dry it lighter didn't work. I decided to give this product a try. It don't clearly state does not work on purple, blue , red hair. Well it does work. Like I said I had purple hair. It smells awful. We ended up doing it outside and you could smell it up to 20 feet away. I also have extremely thick hair and had a half of the bottle left.

      Always Works For Me!

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

I love this stuff. I don't dye my hair anymore but when I did, this always came as a lifesaver for me. Any time my hair came out a color I couldn't handle I used this, and it came out whatever the base was underneath. This includes box dye and salon dye. The smell is a little gross, because of the sulfur, but is easily bearable by cracking a window.

Comments about Color Oops Hair Color Remover:

OK so I had my hair bleached about 5 months ago so the colors of manic panic can come out more vibrant. I first had dyed my hair pink. But then the pink fades too quickly and it wasn't like the pastel kind of pink. More like my bleached hair was becoming noticable. Anyway I decided to try green. Stupid me I used a permanent green from sparks colors only because I wanted the green to last longer. But then after a couple of shampoo's the green by the ends started to fade but at the top of my head the color stayed dark. After more shampooing the dark green just stayed dark. I was trying everything to remove that dark green, honey, vinegar, lemon, baking soda, head and shouldera, but the green was still dark. However my ends lightend up a lot. Enough to where I can apply another manic panic color and it would take well. Anyways I decided to try oops regardless of what the reviews said about it not working for "fancy" hair colors. I was desperate. So I got me a bottle and applied it according to the directions. And wow I must say this stuff really works!!! Now let me just say this, you are not going to get your natural hair color back if you bleached your hair. And I wasn't expecting to get my bleached hair back. All I was looking for was to get rid of that stubborn dark green. It lightened my hair drastically which is what I wanted and finally my hair is all one color. Still green but very very faded enough to where I can add another color and it won't clash. So this can work on fancy hairs colors if you follows the directions. The most important thing you must follow is the rinsing. The double shampooing and lots of rinsing. I was probably in the shower for a good 40 mins. Just cause I wanted to be sure. And as far as the smell goes. It did smell a little funny when I removed the cap. But it quickly went away after using tresemme conditioner.

It works good but just remember to cover every single bit of your hair. Also during the 30 minute rinse it will start to feel disgusting but it definitely does what it's supposed to do! But DO NOT use a hair dryer, it says it in the directions but there's a chance it'll bring back up the color because of the heat.
