Comments about Smashbox Full Exposure Palette:

I thought it would be a good neutral palette that could be used for day and night. The shimmer colors had absolutely no pigmentation. All you get is glitter. The colors are also not terribly unique, and for the price you would expect there to be a specialness to them. Returned it and picked up the Lorac pro palette. It was a MUCH better buy, more colors and cheaper!!

Comments about Smashbox Full Exposure Palette:

This palette is really nice and soft! This palette is more designed for people with good skin, That just need a nice natural eyeshadow, and glitter. I most say you HAVE to use a GOOD primer when you apply this certain palette. But if your trying to pack on makeup, Such as a cake face! Then I'm pretty sure it won't be fond of your face...

Love it! New favorite and it's all I use. Tried the Lorac Pro but it was WAY too pigmented for me. I like the more natural look.

Comments about Smashbox Full Exposure Palette:

So sad that I purchased this. It was my first "high end" palette purchase. I'm so disappointed. The colors swatch well, but they just don't last or have the impact for my lids. Especially the neutrals. The darker pigments are pretty good, but they just don't last. I kept the box/receipt for a long time but one day I decided I was going to stick with it and I am regretting that decision. I am going to get the LORAC PRO palette instead. So many good things about that palette and my local ULTA can't keep it in stock. Lesson learned. Just sad I'm out $50!

Comments about Smashbox Full Exposure Palette:

Wanted to love this palette. The box itself is beautiful, comes with its own double ended brush, and the matte colors are very pretty. However, the shimmer colors are very flaky and glittery, so maybe for a 21 year old they are fine, but I also found that the matte colors are not very pigmented and that I would probably only use 3 or 4 of the colors in all. The brush is basically only good for blending, but it is a nice feature and maybe would work better for you. I had to use my own brush to actually apply the shadow and then blended with the Smashbox brush. It is too pricey for the actual product and it went back after a week for the Lorac Pro Palette, which I much prefer.

      DO NOT BUY THIS PALETTE!

      By Meg

      from Philadelphia

Comments about Smashbox Full Exposure Palette:

For all you people thinking about buying this, now you have fair warning! Run in the other direction, do not buy this, do not waste your money! Smashbox hyped this product up so much that I was so excited to try it! The matte shades vs the glitter shades was very attractive to me and I thought this was going to be my favorite, go- to palette...and it's just AWFUL. The color payoff on the matte shades just is not there. And the glitter shades are absolutely HORRENDOUS. You end up with it everywhere but where you wanted it; even trying to pack it on, it didn't show up on my eyelids, but I had glitter all over my face! And for me, a glittery or shimmery shade can be nice, but this was like a cheap tween large chunk of glitter shadow. WOW was this terrible.

This product looked amazing in he box and I usually love smashbox products. Unfortunately the mattes were not pigmented enough and the shimmers were horrible. The glitter gets everywhere. I returned this and made my own Mac Pro palette instead.

This is such a beautiful product in the picture that I was just dying to buy it and try it for myself. I even used my platinum membership $10 off anything to buy this. But I have to say it does not measure up to the NAKED palletes at ALL!!! The matte colors are really nice to have and do work well with other eyshadows I have. But the glitter ones are not pigmented at all, and I even swatched them and they all look to be the same color even though some are light and some are dark. This product is definitly a 50/50 for me and I'm not saying its terrible, I just think Smashbox was trying to compete with NAKED and unfoutunatly nothing really beats them.

I'm a smashbox user. I have their wondervision palette and it goes on BEAUTIFULLY. No complaints - their mascara is gorgeous as well as their gel liners and pencil liners. But man- this palette is a HUGE disappointment. Even the brush isn't as good as the one from other palettes. DON'T waste your money. I'm super bummed my local Ulta convinced me to buy this because it was "the best" and stays on and is easily to apply..Nope, Returning today and going with my first choice, the first Naked palette.

                disappointed

                By Jan

                from Kansas

Comments about Smashbox Full Exposure Palette:

I originally went in to Ulta to pick up a Lorac Pro palette bit they were sold out. I was introduced to this Smashbox palette by a sales associate and was excited to get it home to try out. I tried out a glitter tone the glitter feel right out right into my eye and cheek bone. I had primer on so I knew it wasn't that. I've tried several different times the other colors and layer after layer you can't even see any pigment. I eventually returned it after giving it several attempts. I wanted to love it but it was not gonna happen.
