Comments about Remington Ultimate Stylist Fast Finish Hair Dryer:

My old Remington dryer gave up the good fight after about seven years so I had to shop for a new hair dryer. I had bought a Conair Infinity on sale at another store and that was way too powerful. It was like drying your hair in a hurricane and that was just on the low setting. It was returned after one use. I have fine/thin shoulder length hair and need something more gentle. I stopped at Ulta where you can actually try out a lot of hair hair dryers on display. My criteria was that the low setting not be too powerful, a loop to hang it, ion/ceramic, and less than $50. I choose this because the low setting is nice and gentle, you can actually style your hair while it is drying and it doesn't get knotted or tangled up. There is a turbo switch that basically gives it four speeds, which is a pretty cool feature. The temperature settings are fine for my use. I usually just use the warm (or hot setting when I'm in a hurry). The hot setting is hot, but not scorching hot. It comes with a concentrator attachment, but NOT a diffuser like the online description says (at least mine didn't), but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. This dryer might be a little heavy for some people, but it is not any more heavier than my old dryer so I'm fine with it. Overall I'm happy with the product and the price. Hope it lasts as long as my last hairdryer!
